Default no illumination lights. no gauge cluster, radio, hvac, hazard lights

just replaced the motor. pulled pretty much all the interior panels apart to get to passenger airbag that was blown from front end wreck. im almost positive that before i pulled everything apart, the illumination lights worked. so far what i've checked - i get voltage at the main fuse block and all fuses look to be good. inside fuse block has 0 blown fuses, only fuse pulled is for airbag system, it'll have one put in today just to make sure that isn't somehow the culprit.. (ran out of fuses). i have no voltage on the illumination fuse slot.. im sure i've just missed a plug somewhere. i've also read that there is a control module for the illumination system.. where is this?? any ideas why i don't get voltage at the FB? this is the only thing holding me up from reassembling the car.

btw, interior dome light and the actual hazard blinker function work. just not the backlight (illumination). had an aftermarket double din installed before i bought it. has oem radio back in it now. stock gauge cluster as well. i haven't pulled it. i did disconnect the fuel pump relay before engine removal, but it is reconnected now.

ok, nvm.. im either retarded and didn't realize it, or previous owner changed up wiring.. headlights on mine are keyed voltage.. not sure if they are all that way or not.. randomly decided to prime the fuel pump and i guess i had left the headlight switch on and bam.. instant lights as soon as i turned the key to acc. don't remember my 07 sti being that way. i know E-brake down turned on the auto running/headlights (hid's).. but oh well.. fixed anyway.. wasted 3 days troubleshooting.

The headlights are always powered on by the ignition switch as far as I know. Bad connections in the fuse panels are a fairly common issue.
