I received mine today. Sounds and looks great! I'm a bit confused about the halfway option. From the site, I was under the impression that halfway meant longer than stock but shorter than flush with valence. Are you saying that it actually protrudes further out than the flush option? If so, I will kick myself because I do wish it protruded a bit past the valence.

Halfway means halfway from flush and the the stock position. I don't think they have an option to go past the valence. You could always email them about it.

Yeah halfway is 1" back from the valence edge, meaning toward the front of the car. Either way, call me up before you install. We're at the shop right now 360.263.5001 and we can discuss. I want our customers to be happy so we'll do our best to accommodate if you mis-ordered the design. Can't guarantee anything, but I'd rather talk to you about it before you go run it and decide it isn't what you wanted to order.

It's too late...already drove the crap out of it . I was able to fiddle with it to get it just a tad past the valence. It looks really good. I'm happy. Thanks!

First thing I noticed when I saw those pictures.

Exhaust looks good. Very much like OEM (which is a good thing, IMO). I really love the double wall style.

@Modliving - What exact options did you pick for your exhaust? It looks fantastic. Maybe I'm retarded but I'm confused by all the different options so I'm trying to get an idea of what it all looks like.

The specs from his order:

'11 WRX/STi Axle Back Exhaust, Sedan
Material: T304SS
Finish: Bare
Tip: Staggered Double Wall
Tip Location: Flush

I'm going to update the photos and such on the website to clarify the tip locations as well as the tip styles.

^^ Actually read the thread lol... this was discussed numerous times. They already made a catback but found that it wasnt worth the extra money for the negligable gain in HP over the axel back. They are currently in the process of designing a Downpipe and midpipe though. go back a few pages and they have a pic of the catback they were designing....

We had the exhaust on our customer's car for a week and a half and about 2000 miles of driving in a variety of conditions - rain, snow, dirt, aggressive dry pavement driving, etc. and had no issues with rattling or any collisions between the exhaust and the chassis. And the design uses dual 2.5" design from the center of the car all the way to the tailpipes. I really like it, and before we thrashed the crap out of it, it looked pretty good. Here's the 'after flogging it' photo...which was also the point at which we decided never to use Vibrant hangers again...they're 400 series stainless and they rust. Lame.

We are however, planning on doing a midpipe though as well as a downpipe. That would give us a full catback design. We will also be utilizing some novel concepts to keep the sound levels down on that design, and we have plenty of space to do so with the muffler deletes out back. We may be interested in selling this catback if demand is high enough, but really, it'll be spendy. It's got four aircraft v-bands on it and is very complex tubing to ensure proper fit.

Talk to you all soon.

So I installed the exhaust today and it was easy.

Now here is the kicker, I have a catless do and no res. It's super quiet when I'm cruising and loud as heck when I accelerate(duh). I can't even touch the throttle a little bit and it gets kinda raspy. Not that it bothers me cause I love it, but I might have to get a resonator. Balls to the wall it sounds awesome. Great product, jason. Fit and finish, no issues centering and will post a vid tomorrow.

electronic butterfly valve that opens to atmosphere before muffler in this case. Louder, free flowing and more power (?)

Hahaha. 5-7 weeks. If it takes us that long, we're fired. And we do plan on doing a full muffler delete bypass around the muffler in this design. Will be doing some testing on a '10 STi Hatch tomorrow most likely.
