Post Anyone have problems with their abs brakes on rs. need input!

Has anyone else had a problem with their ABS on there RS? I recently started my car and the ABS warning light came on. I drove to my friends house and when I got back out to my car, turned on the engine, Light DIDN'T come on! What the heck is going on?? This has happend two other times since so I plan on making a trip to my Subie dealer for service. Just wanted to know if anyone had this same problem??

The car might have detected a "low voltage" condition which could cause the light to come on, that might also explain why it didn't come back on after you drove it a bit and the alternator had juiced the battery up a little.

I recently had my ABS fail at an Auto-X. Brakes locked, I slid through the stop-box and then they wouldn't unlock. I put it on the computer the next day at work and the computer showed the wierdest thing. The front speed sensor showed the car was traveling at 34 MPH and the rear at 24 MPH, this apparently blew the computer's mind and caused the failure. The odd thing... No ABS light when it happened.
