Can we get the same for the stock third brake light subispeed?
I guess I've been trying to race & pass all the new Cameros. LOL
Haven't seen it but will look for it.

The flashing 3rd brake light mod would be nice, if the price is right. I wouldn't want to pay more than $40 for it.

...it's more than $40. But the quality of the part looks like it's worth the asking price, plus it's cheaper than the JDM fog light.

May have been a mod someone has done then, only seen it once so far.

New Corvette's third brake light does flash though

Haha you think that's bad? I was trying to order some LED interior/c-light/ and license plate lights, they could all probably fit in a small box...$30 shipped was my cheapest option...from usps...yea right, I've shipped stuff via usps before that was larger and it was like $8-15...no thanks men.

First class mail is a few Bucks for something like leds, and usps has flat rate shipping that ranges from $5-15 max with 1- 3 day priority shipping options.

So Ya $20 for ground is ridiculous. I guess you have to make up introductory pricing some how.

You guys know that just about every business inflates their shipping price right?

Regardless of this I'm probably going to not shop at Subispeed anymore just because I've read about the cheap harnesses they sell with products. Also one of my reverse LEDs fell in the taillight and they said pretty much it was a known issue because it was in their customer reviews.... I would think a vendor would contact everyone who owns the product and offer a refund or exchange instead of just saying that.

I'm going to Diode Dynamics for LEDs from here on out.

I just have a problem with their DRL HARNESS. I made the exact same harness for both sides for less than $20 using the exact same materials.

Ya can't say I was thrilled when their hella harness arrived..

Was/am pissed I spent $80 on the DRL harness. The moment I saw the harness in person I regretted not building my own for less than $20.

I won't knock a company for selling an over priced bunch of wires - That's their call. Fair market dictates that if they have enough demand they can charge what they do and people will buy it.
Alternatively, if enough people stop buying the produce because the price point doesn't match with what they feel the product is worth, SubiSpeed will have to either lower the price to market value or improve the product to meet their price point.

What we the forum members can do is educate other members on the difference in price and quality between the various vendors here.

While not to discredit the complaints above. I have ordered and installed the following:

LED fog light
LED back up light
LED turn signal bulbs
Hella horn kit.

All ordered with no issues. All installed with no issues.

horn harness works as intended. Seems like a robust harness. Thick insulated wires. Good connectors. Good length.

I'm going to guess some of you have never run a business. A business is out to make money. Not just enough in the side to be a hobby. Enough to pay the bills. Support their family.

Shipping costs are inflated. Mostly not for profit, but to offset a negative cost to ship further out than a closer address. It all evens out in the end.

Subispeed makes stuff for the lazy folks like me. As well as test it out.

If you can do it better and cheaper. Then do it. Now try selling that and see how it works out.

There are about 3 - 4 products on the markets for the 5th gen Camaros that add a delay for the outer lights. It adds it anytime the lights are used so you'll see the delay in turn signals, 4 ways, and brake lights. There is also 1 set of aftermarket lights which have various functions including the flashing. Well it actually is called rapid fire and starts at the center of the lamp and spreads out.

-------------------------

It's no secret that we charge shipping on orders under $250. Fortunately for small businesses, we don't have to enter the dimensions of every single item that we sell. Unfortunately this doesn't always add up to perfect estimates when utilizing shipping APIs. In other words the eCommerce platform is submitting weights and addresses to USPS / UPS and they are returning the values.

While USPS has been hurting some vendors by putting shipping estimates on their Priority Mail, we're part of the small percentage of vendors utilizing our eCommerce platform that has been able to rectify the issue. We took the time to investigate the issue and correct the core code in our website. It's always in our best interest to be transparent as possible about the transaction. Sticking by this, we've grown from 2 people in February to our current staff of 6. Everything is done in house from the pictures, videos, product development, website, shipping, customer support, etc so we do believe we've put our best foot forward with the staff we have.

By this time next year we hope to find a number of capable employees to expand the business even further. With this we want to improve customer service, ship faster, stock more, create more products, and in general just put a bigger smile on our customers' faces.

The above image shows the only field we have to fill in for a product. Everything else estimates shipping from our location in Des Moines. There's not a little man sitting and estimating your shipping and inflating it. That image is also from the F1 style rear fog / brake light.

If you're looking for a history of our performance prior to SubiSpeed, feel free to speak with others about FT86SpeedFactory.

@anjuna, our system sends e-mails to the orders inbox. Once in a blue moon, the e-mail doesn't get sent. If it happened on a regular basis, we'd have a lot more unhappy customers. We're always looking for ways to improve the system, however at this point it's well over 99.5% if not 99.75% functional in regards to converting orders to e-mails.

Happy New Year all! Have fun modding in 2015.

Anjuna..your last post expresses exactly what I feel about this jokers. I have similar situation with them, canceling my order without my consent and then charging me the restocking fee because I cancel my order lol.

While they have nice products that I would definitively buy their precises are sometime a both ridiculous and on top the customer service is one of the worst I've seen.

Any questions please holler. All refunds have been completed in full.

Thank you,

I'd like to point out that I've never had an issue buying from SubiSpeed. My interactions with SubiSpeed have left me very satisfied. Good customer service goes beyond processing the order and shipping it out, as was said before, and when I needed SubiSpeed beyond this they have come through for me.

For example, I had some fitment issues with the OLM LED fog lights so I sent SubiSpeed an email asking for advice. Yo sent me an email within two days suggesting I used the factory bulb gasket on the OLM fog lights to snug up the fit and if that didn't work they would send me some new o-rings ASAP. Low and behold, the suggestion worked!

The customer service I have received from SubiSpeed has been great thus far and they will continue to get my business. Thanks, SubiSpeed!

You know Jeremy, if these are the steps you have to take, you're probably doing something wrong.

Alexis, PM me for more reputable vendors who won't pull this kind of crap.

After all subispeed, it is much easier to just tell someone you won't do business with them any longer than actually fix the problem and/or communicate better. I've offered to talk to you about your tactics, but I always receive no reply. As someone who was a productivity enhancer for a few years, my 125/hr input for free could be valuable.

Hey guys. NASIOC is a VERY comprehensive Forum. We even have a sub forum for Vendor Reviews.

This will be your only warning. Either contribute to the thread, or receive points for harassment. There is already a place for your complaints, so don't clutter up this good thread with your drama. Thanks!

Aw did subispeed run and tattle?

I'll definitely head over there. I was just trying to advise people who aren't looking into the vendor review area.

Thanks for the heads up.

Those are special tail lights from a company called Technostalgia. I use their tail lights on my Cruze. LOVE them.

They are nice. Does the Cruze have a show mode as well?

I tried getting them in on the FR-S / BRZ early, but it takes a lot of money to pay for a new mold and what not. Hopefully I'll be able to get someone to budge on tail lights in general for the 2015 WRX / STI.
