Default PDX Tuning Dyno Day - Final Schedule & Payment Info - Standby folks read as well!

All,
This is the final schedule. Barring anyone not making their deposit or unforseen circumstances, this is how the days will go. In order to hold your place at the event, you must call PDX Tuning at 503-624-2919 and place a $150 non-refundable deposit down. Make sure you mention your NASIOC name and the day you're tuning as well as the location (Engine Logics). The balance due will be paid before you get on the dyno, with either cash or a call to PDX tuning ahead of time with a credit card charge.

If PDX Tuning does not receive payment by 4/21/2006, then your spot will be forfeit. If you end up prepaying and can't make it, you may contact one of the standby folks via PM and work out a deal. Just make sure you notify me of this via PM. Be there 15 minutes before your designated time.

You must also go to http://www.pdxtuning.com/tuningreq.htm and fill out PDX's Tuning Request Form prior to the dyno day. Enter "Engine Logics - Houston - May (5 or 6, pick one)" as the LOCATION

PDX has been pleasantly surprised by the number of locals interested in a tune. If all goes smoothly this dyno day session, they will plan on coming back later on this year. If you didn't make this event, there will be others soon.

Deposit left.
I'm still not sure which turbo it'll be on there since the VF39 I got was borked on the turbine side (fins). So if anyone else doesn't quite have their combination down, they can wait a bit for you to fill out the form and get it to them.

Yeah not directed at me either but it sure is fun beating the SRTs out there running 5mph faster on the big end because they can't get off the line. In a SUV. Those SS trailblazers are getting pretty quick, though. Exhaust and tunes have them going mid-low 13s. A couple are already in the 11s with bolt-ons. I guess the 6.0 ls2 platform is hard to beat for aftermarket.

It's basically $286 the first hour (Since the plane ticket costs are taken out of this), and $265 each additional hour. By this logic, a 1.5 hour tune would cost $418. There is some padding between each tune - Some will take longer, some will be shorter. If Jarrad ends up doing a full hour and a half, it's $418.

If you're only doing one hour, yes.

Think folks might try to get there 30-45 min ahead? It is possible some tunes could go quicker...

Correct. And the first hour includes chipping in for Jarrad's ticket. (About $18 per person)

I recommend everyone come at the start of the day or a few hours beforehand. It's not just a dyno tuning thing, we're going to have food and drinks courtesy of NASIOC and McRee and I'll likely be taking Friday off and doing the grilling even though I'm not being tuned.

Hello everyone. You can pay the deposit online in the PDXTuning store or just call up and ask for Forrest. Don't wait until the deadline to get your deposit in.

Yes, the rest you pay to Jarrad at the day of the tune. Before Jarrad leaves, PDX will be paying a portion of that to Engine Logics for use of the dyno time. The downpayment ensures that if you don't make it, Engine Logics will get paid for the dyno time regardless. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...3&postcount=11 - Read that.

Guys, it's going to be rough on Jarrad, so please don't slow him down by asking him a million questions, especially when he is tuning someone else's car.
