I want to find a riding partner who's between intermediate and amateur-comp riding level. I've lost all my riding pals that I used to go with, doing "tree runs", riding pipe and park.

Yeah, that's about right.

Awwwwyeah, I have until January to get good before my friends from California come up and start bitching about the slush-boarding down there. This is going to be the winter that my butt lives to regret.

Keiho, that's OK, you can be the wheelman since you have such a fine automobile.

Talking mmmmmmmm snow

This is kinda OT but not really.( gotta love ambiguous sentences eh? )

Ken,

You should get ski patrol out after your buddies. I thought I was bad in loosing a pair of gloves, but you lost a couple friends... damn

Anybody here going to be getting a pass at whistler? outside of the folks who live in whistler of course. I am getting a gold express pass.
I think we should have an i-club ski day up at whistler this winter. So all y'all who are learning get good quick so we can play, k? Yeah, we could also have mini meets up at cypress or seymour and head out for night riding/skiing.

lookin' forward to this season like you can't believe!

pray for snow

Lightbulb Pick a night!

Guys, the pass includes one night a week for the season, and we have to pick a night... I vote for Tuesdays or Fridays, as I would think this would be the least busiest of nights coz Tuesdays are like cheap nights for movies and Fridays, well... it's Friday!

Ken,

What type of rider are you? freestyle or freeride?

If freeride, you are welcome to join me and my buds. No more local mountains for us this season. I bought a ski card for Cypress last season and didn't even use it... not even once.

It's gonna be blackcomb for most of our trips. We usually do a big trip too. Last 2 years was Big White. This season, we're talking 'bout Big White and Banff.

Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks 'skull!

I freeride and freestyle. I've been riding 6 seasons, where the first four seasons I used to go 40 times a season. Like when I go ride, I wanna be dropping 10-20ft. vertical, 360'ing table-tops and such.

It wasn't so good going with beginners. I got this one fellow to spot the landing once and he didn't realize how far I was launching. I practically landed on his back leg and board... so that's why I want to start going with experienced guys again.

Ahhh... we sometimes will go do jumps, but rarely.

We just like to go down the mountain really really fast. If there's enough snow we tend to go into the glades a lot too.

With this group discount, you can opt for:

- one nighter (choose 1 night / week to go)
- ALTS on nighter ( 1 night / week + 5 day tickets and 1hr lessons )

Any of the above can be had, with or without rentals. I believe the price will range from $175+. The ALTS setup is worth it just for the 5 day tickets.

Default Yep... here is what my company has...

Here's the info on pass prices for this year. You qualify as a "renewal" if you had a season's pass last year (ski cards don't count).
Code:
<table>
<tr><td>Pass Type</td><td>Regular</td><td>Group</td><td>Group Renewal</td></tr>
<tr><td>Oneniter</td><td>$175</td><td>$175</td><td>$155</td></tr>

<tr><td>Dayniter</td><td>$525</td><td>$420</td><td>$31</td>1</tr>

<tr><td>Nitetimer</td><td>$450</td><td>$360</td><td>$275</td></tr>

<tr><td>Full Priviledge</td><td>$815</td><td>$652</td><td>$522</td></tr>

<tr><td>ALTS</td><td>$275</td><td>$220</td><td>$164</td></tr>

<tr><td>ALTS w/rental</td><td>$370</td><td>$296</td><td>$228</td></tr>

</table>
What are the different pass types? Read on . . .

A Oneniter is a pass to ski one night all season (you have to pick a night).

A Dayniter is a pass to ski Monday through Friday all day and night.

A Nitetimer is a pass to ski any night 7 days a week.

A Full Priviledge is a pass to ski any time you want.

An ALTS pass includes a oneniter pass, plus 5 lessons with day passes included (essentially, you get 5 day passes for very little more since you don't have to actually do the lessons). There is a rental option with the ALTS pass, which is pretty good value.

Have a Nice Day? how do you spell friday at cypress? c-h-a-o-s

Friday night at cypress is a ZOO. For all those who go out and party on friday night, there are ten underage people who head up to the hills.
It is not a pretty sight on a friday night.

You mean, packed full of 11teens... We went on valentine's last year and I'll tell you that's the time to scope your hotties out.

Wed's weren't bad. For the most part, people start going home after 9pm or if the weather's bad (read raining or foggy). I get up there by 7-730pm anyways.

De Rama:I'll be in on the group discount for renewing my ALTS pass if I can't get it from my work.
