Here's my Rex. Cobb stage 2, invidia turbo back exhaust, tein coilovers, sti topmount. Wheels need to go, not a fan of them but let me know what ya think.

Picked up an 08 wrx hatchback with about 13k miles on it last month and LOVE IT.
I live in Northport, NY. Just wanted to say hi to the community, glad to finally own a subaru.

Only things I have done so far are:
-C-mod Mesh Grille
-Hella Horn's
-Rally Armor Basic Mudflaps
-Momo R3000 pedals
-Kartboy Shortthrow and bushings
-[still haven't been installed]Pioneer Double Din, Kicker ZX 700.5 amp, 4x Kicker DS 650 comps, Kicker CVR 400watt sub, perfect fit inclosure and wiring kit.

nope never i've had cops look at it really confused then they see that its bent up and they just let me go. usually as long as you have a plate on the car they don't care what you do with it unless you cut it up.

I've heard of people getting ticketed for having a license plate frame that covers the state name. Folding or modifying your plate is definitely a red flag for the cop to give you a ticket if he feels like it. I'd rather just take the plate off. I've had my plate off for over a year and have been pulled over 6 or 7 times since then and only once has a cop asked where my plate was. I usually say it fell off in the car wash or that I just had the paint detailed and forgot to put the plate back on.

Yeah in NJ people can't have a frame like that either not even those clear covers are allowed. Any cop thats bored can get you for it.

Probably did it for better air flow to the FMIC,...
I did the same thing, but I used a straight edge to be sure it looked nicer and had even corners....
