Default It's been a while but the turbos are now in STOCK!

We had been waiting for the order of Mitsubishi 16G turbos to come in and they are here!

These turbos are the same ones that originally came on the V1 and V2 STi RA. They are both oil and water cooled and are available in many different forms from standard 16G on up to a monster that will easily put over 450WHP!

You can find them Here on our site they come with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty against defects, they are brand new not rebuilds or take offs they are fresh from Mitsubishi Japan!

The Monster turbo (A.K.A. FRANKENSTIEN) is not listed on the site and should you be interested in this please e-mail us at [email protected] the pricing on this turbo is going to be $1350 shipped!

The 16G will flow 505CFM which is about 25CFM more then the VF22 the big 16G will flow around 540CFM, the 18G will flow around 580-600CFM and the 20G will flow around 620-650CFM.

The monster is estimated to flow in the neighborhood of 850CFM and is rated efficient to ~26lbs of boost!

The spool characteristics are all relative to the mods that are on your car on a stock car the 16G will spool around 3400RPM, 18G around 3800RPM and the 20G around 4200RPM.

With tuning and supporting mods you should be able to reduce these #'s greatly the Monster turbo will spool around 4400RPM +/- All these #'s are related to a 2.0 Liter motor.

If you plan to use these on an STi your #'s would be greatly reduced! Exactly how much we can only estimate around 500-700RPM again depending on supporting mods.

The information on the site states that the turbos take 30days to ship this is no longer accurate they will ship within a week and in most cases within a day or two.

We look forward to providing you with the best quality in performance parts!

No they are completely Mitsubishi! They are no longer a hybrid turbo. The descriptions will be updated early next week.

OK....I'm new to this turbo upgrade stuff

Which is a good upgrade from the stock turbo on a basically stock motor w/a Stg 1 TXS Unichip??
I'm guessing either of the 16G's would work. I would prefer not to upgrade injectors, fuel pump, etc.

The 16G will require new fuel injectors and a pump...actually anything bigger than stock will pretty much require them.

No, they for sure did not come with a 16g. I would be interested in more specific information on the hot side of the 20g.

You have now been e-mailed and PM'd in regards to this, the PM should have been received over a week ago.

The symptoms you explained are inaccurate, a turbo charged car will start with or without the turbo installed, even with a seized turbo the car would start, this turbo is in as far as we can tell good working condition, We are however going to install it on a vehicle and test it to see if we can reproduce your problem if not the turbo will be shipped back. Unless you want it shipped back sooner?

So is your 18g a 7cm^2 housing? What about your 20g?

Are you using the Greddy compressor housing or something different? Are you including downpipe bolts, oil/coolant lines, gaskets?
