Peter, I need to drop my form off with you. My PDF file didn't print out that well, and I'm afraid faxing it will chop off my long form. PM me or icq me so I can meet you somewhere to give it to you.

Check out Comorsports. I bought my whole boarding package their and I got a deal, so they aren't too bad. There are all of the board shops down on W4th. but the prices won't be that different.

Burton boots tend to be wide. I had size 10's, but they were wide. I then got into some size 5 Nitros! Talk about size difference. Airwalks aren't as wide as Burtons, and they are good boots. It'll be at least $200. $300+ for more comfortable boots.

Spend the money on your boots - it's worth it

Screw fancy bindings and a super nice board - you'll have a better time riding with super comfy boots.

Just caught this thread - ring me when you guys go up - I wouldn't mind shredding up the mountain =P

Default FYI: For people what went with this group rate.

If you were waiting for your confirmation package, see below.

Subject: Re: Cypress group passes

Strange...I think that we have had a computer glitch. Thanks for alerting me
to this problem. I have just looked up every individual on your list and all
of them are in our computer system. This means that all of them can go to
any mall location (Metropolis, Pacific Centre, Cypress Mountain Sports at
Park Royal or up the mountain) to get their passes, even without the letter.
Anyone who would like a confirmation letter for a receipt purpose, he/she
can call Ann at group sales at 604-926-5612 ext.661 and request a letter.
Ann usually works weekdays from 8am to 2pm. Please let me know if you have
any further concerns. I apologize for the mix-up.

Ok, so it's open now during the week for night boarding. I am going to go Wed. I don't expect it to be the greatest yet so I'll probably get board after an hour or so, so I will volunteer on helping anyone that wants help on the bunny hill, or on the regular runs. Probably I will be up there by 7:30pm and then get my pass processed.

Let me know if you all plan on going this Wed.

I went on my first lesson yesterday (sunday). Hrm, my only problem is getting up heel side. I don't wanna go downhill using only toe side pendulums... I wanna turn around and face downhill....

If you're brave enough to follow me into the snowboard terrain park, I'll show you. Or just on a regular run.

haha..thats not that bad..choppin your head...i had some crazy accidents...in my 6 years so far snowboarding....I've broken my ribs at the blackcomb terrain park...blacked out like 4 times...1 concussion...and one time I blacked out.I swear to god..I was lying in the snow..nailed my head..then I got up...then looked back down where I was lying down..and saw my body still lying there..then like a second later..I woke up..and was like what the ****?? that was the craziest ever...i musta hit my head really hard...

but yeah...ever sice that accident..I ride with a helmet..so much safer...that and most terrain parks require you to wear a helme tif you wanna ride in it..I know that it is at cypress and seymour...
