You can use any Subaru EJ Oil filter

I'd recommend a Wix or a Purolator. You could use the OEM Blue Subaru ones if you're doing your Oil changes on time/aren't beating on her. But i'd use one of the first two

If you want some cheap and reliable power get a TD05 and a Z4 ecu.
Can still use the stock injectors and get more power and fun!

I had this set up in my RS RA and that thing would move.
Surprised many later model cars who thought it was a slow car.

Also good work on getting a BC legacy - my favorite.

Pics please

ESL takes Z4/td05 to the next level. The provided basemap is the sti ver2 6k map which is a great starting point at approx 276bhp. One very modern feature about ESL is the live trace capability. If for whatever reason you canít see the cell youíre in, just tap the throttle and watch the active working area light up.

ESL wonít work on a GT wagon ECU out of the box though, as thereís no socket for the dayghterboard. You can add the socket, youíll need to find your local hardware geek to identify which socket it takes and to
Solder it in. Otherwise you can track down an RS ECU that should have the socket from factory. But good luck, they are getting hard to find these days, even inNZ where we are seemingly blessed with piles of these cars.

Service wise, yup, use yah trusty AA100 genuine oil filter.
Air filter: 16546AA020
Plugs: PFR6B / BKR6EIX
Coils, air flow meter and knock sensors are all still available on partsouq. PM me if you want part numbers.
