In need of 2 kind of shops...
Hey guys!
I'm around the LA county area and recently have been looking for two kind of shops to get some stuff for my subie. 1. I've been looking for a cat back, but if i dont find one I'm thinking of just going to a muffler shop and getting a mid pipe made so i can get more tone out of my exhaust. Do you guys know any shops around the LA county that will do this that you have already dealt with and could advise? I'm not wanting to spend too much, and from what i hear getting something like that done is about $60-100. Plus if its a shop that is cool and friendly I'd rather give them business 2. I'm thinking about buying some side fender flares but need them painted in SWP. Any shops that can do this for reasonable prices and that have good recommendations would be great. Thanks a lot!

Whats wrong with cruising the classifieds or buying online? IMHO, Going into a shop to buy basic parts such as an exhaust is just asking to be ripped off.
As far as paint, that is hit or miss. West Coast Auto body in Puentee Hills did some really good work on my forester a while back. SWP is an interesting color to match, though. |

I use a exhaust shop in Fullerton, he is the guy!
Does all the custom hot rods and the local race car crowd. He removed my donut section and welded a new flange on my Cobb exhaust for $20. (I supplied flange) I also have a paint shop that I have sent some members to, with great results. They also did my OBP respray and it looks WET! PM me and I can get you some more info. Howard |
