The main driver will be emissions, but yes it will have better fuel economy too

Just buy a 2019 and trade it in for a 2020 a few days later. No brainer.

doubtful considering consumer demand in the United States over the last 30 years has had less than nothing to do with fuel economy.
That's why it's essentially unchanged since 1990.
People want more power and bigger vehicles, and that's what they get.

My butt dyno senses slight power increase and more hustle when you push the right pedal. YMMV.

If you had put me in a 2016 and a 2019 without letting me know which one I was driving, I'd have a hard time noticing anything.
