Adding to the fibreglass work

The final product

Used the magnet from a smart cover on the bottom of the fibreglass pan to hold the iPad in. The lightning connector also stabilizes.

Default Will a bugeye momo steering wheel swap to a 2005 forester?

I have a homie that has an 02 bugeye and he wants to trade steering wheels. Will they swap and what mods will need to be done?

Not much of a solution to this problem...

Cool DIY license plate delete

I figure this is the best place to post this....so here it is! My DIY license plate delete. Within hours of relocating my plate, I was tired of the eye sore that was the open holes the dealership drilled into the bumper. I didn't want to spend 45+ bucks on a plate delete that is essentially a piece of plastic or metal with a company's logo that I don't care to have. Making my own allowed it to be more customizable as well. All that was needed was a heat gun, dremel, pvc pipe, and vinyl wrap. Worth the 20$ I spent on the heat gun I am putting together a video tutorial (even though this is ridiculously simple), that I will link to when its finished.

So I grew tired of the poor lighting in my garage and having to use a trouble/work light when under my hood. I decided to wire up an under hood LED light that works like a fridge door (on when open and off when closed).
Items used:
10' - 14awg red wire
10' - 14awg black wire
10' - 1/4" split loom
1 - pin switch
1 - ring terminal connector
1 - female terminal tab connector
1 - 18" 3M adhesive backed LED light strip
5 - Zip tie adhesive backed mounts + zip ties
1 - Rubber bumper
1 - In line ATC fuse holder and a 10amp fuse

Here is a wide angle shot taken at night to show how much light this set up kicks out.

This mod took about 1 hour to install and was fairly easy, no more flash lights or trouble lights for this guy.

Default grill carbon and candy red wrap

So I love the look of the Varis car's red stripe on the lower part of the center grill. I also love carbon.... and hate the OEM Subaru Jandsport backpack texture that is on all the plastic trim. I finally did something about it on the grill and also took care of the gloss black as well. I will be following this soon with the foglight bezels. Enjoy!!!

everything from the Subaru overlay to the grill is available as a kit if interested. DM me. Enjoy!!!! More pics to follow

Repainted my hella horns blue and made my own hella horn bracket mount using a L shape metal strap tie. Cost of bracket and bolts = $8

Don't see any sticky threads regarding refinishing/repairing the plastic parts like the door finishes... whats the technical name? you know where coins and dust collects. Mine is starting to fade...
