Great thread but ?????
This is obviously a great thread but I do not even know what to call this exterior body part (2013 Impreza...not fast back) let alone identify it from this list. It starts where the back door ends but projects to the front of the vehicle over the doors.
Wife had an incident (probably backing up while angry). Is it a quarter-panel? I want to know so I can price it and decide whether to ask my brother-in-law to fix. He is good but does it 40-50 hours a week and so procrastinates on side jobs. I would have to get it painted either way. So knowing what a body shop will charge and what my brother-in-law will charge plus paint job are the options  .If you have read this thanks...I could not find a decent diagram on the Web. Quote:

Here is my DIY chromoly front light/bull bar with four 6x6 LED pods and Yakima "Basket Case" roof rack with the front bars cut off and replaced with a 20" radial LED bar.

First time wrapping a car, cheap ebay wrap. Not easy to apply but yellow is looking good so far, after about a month. Still need to finish the bumpers

Cross bars
Hi all, I'm in the process of buying a used 2011 impreza outback sport hatch, and it seems like the previous owner bought crossbars but didnt install them so I've run into a couple problems:
I dont have the tool kit for installation, and at the dealership I couldnt get the mounting flaps open with my fingernail. Not sure how easily they're supposed to pop open and if I just need a flathead screwdriver or theres some sort of special key that comes with the crossbars. Also unsure hoe specific the bolts and wrenches are, ie if I'd be able to buy a similar enough bolt in a hardware store and just use some torx wrenches I already own. Any input is appreciated since this is my first time dealing with this |
