They could reveal it at the Chicago Auto Show which is July 15-19 this year.

Really hope the rest of the overall design impresses… or is at least somewhat different.

What we can see looks almost exactly the same as the current gen.

Do we love the looks of each new gen at first usually? No… but they at least have the balls to change it up typically.

Obviously will reserve judgment until I see the whole thing, however, Ive never been a fan of that roofline.

Take this

and smash some of this on the rear

The general design has been out there for quite a long while. Are we not convinced and expect something 100% unique?

Maybe the WRX is the new Impreza as far as looks and aesthetics and the STI is where all the money is thrown at.

Doubtful, but I’ve never understood why they design their halo car after the Impreza instead of designing their halo car, and letting the rest of the line up take design features.

Possible, they did unveil the 50th Anniversary cars at Chicago, although we still need to see the new Forester first.

Two guesses:

Chicago - July (Outback Wilderness)
NYIAS - August (Forester / Forester Wilderness)
LA Autoshow - November (WRX)

OR

Chicago - July (Forester / Forester Wilderness)
NYIAS - August (WRX)
LA Autoshow - November (Solterra)

I mean the previous generations ie blob eye and hawk eye look very similar aside from the bumber and tail lights and maybe hood scoop

I'm shocked that no one has posted this article with a teaser photo, nor has anyone imported the photo into photoshop to jack the gain?

must I do everything for you guys?

It is interesting that the WRX/STI styling has changed unmistakably from GD to GV to VA and this new generation looks very similar to the VA and that's with two entire Impreza generation gaps between them. That photo above may as well be a VA as it's the same car from the top to the fender crease line. The reality is that all Subaru has gone pretty conservative with styling changes going back to the last decade as the last few generations of Outback, Forester and Impreza look more like mild refreshes than all new vehicles.

You're not alone. I mean, you're really close to alone and the few people who are with you are weird and you'd probably never hang out with them otherwise. But you're not alone.

The renderings are pretty much spot on. This reveal isn't really something that will be shocking to most of us that have been waiting.

I don't care how boring it is, I just need to know if all of my mods will swap over to the FA24.

I think those pictures of the blue one just above look much better than the current car even if they share similar DNA. The rear end in particular looks much improved. I never even once considered getting into a VA STI but I think this one may cross my mind.

I do like the hood scope on the blue one. If it would be blacked out even better.
