I started with an 04 Wrx in 08, and have had an 05 Sti for 7 years now. However, I blew the engine and now getting out of the game. I think I may have out grown it to a degree. My next ride will have to be like a Ferrari or something similarly matured lol

+1 and I'm 35. I've owned two WRX's: an '04 that I later traded for a '13. I'm about to sell it though because I don't drive it enough (mostly because I'm hauling cargo or towing frequently in my truck).

I love the Subaru AWD handling in winter.

I'll be back someday with a STI. Or maybe a DIY electric conversion...

Will be 31 in 2 months. 2016 WRX. In general, I keep every vehicle I own stock (new ones and classic ones).

I understand completely. I really do! Especially about the classic cars. But I highly recommend you stage 2 your WRX, just keep the stocks in storage to return if you want. This car is SO much more fun to drive modded.

I may consider that in the next couple of years. I always fear sacrificing reliability. I do find the car really fun to drive as is, it's pretty much just an A to B vehicle for me. I never would do any racing with it.

Only Stage 1 at the moment, but airing out is still fun a year later after the install.

I am 31 just bought my first WRX. I think WRX makes me feel younger. But then again, I have the brain age of a 21 year old.

Going to be 33 soon and have a 13 hatch but not sure if modding or going to get another to mod. My neighbor is in his 40's and has a 05 with exhaust and he is original owner.

35 here.

2006 WRX in my early 20s.
2011 STi in my late 20s.
Took a hiatus, 2004 STi in my mid 30s as weekend/autocross car, only 47K on her. I drive my SRT daily.
Nothing like running through the gears in a STi.

agreed! half of me wants to move on from my STi (997 Turbo S?) and the other half says cage it and thrash it around on the track until it's toast.

Im 30 with 2011 WRX. Purchased it brand new and its been paid off for 2 years now. I have Cobb stage 2 tune with sf and dp along with Tomei ELH. I've thought many times about trading it in for something new but then I realize I love not having a car payment.

33 and currently breaking in a WRB 18 STI. Thought about moving on to an Audi or BMW, but right now they just don't make me smile like a turbo Subaru. Plus the wife and kids love the "blue car."

Previous Subarus 04 WRX stage 2 and 2012 FXT.

Drive an Audi with a tuned 4.0TT and you'll smile ear to ear.
