bugeye fx35 retrofits=)
super awesome thanks to scarsofterror for making these headlights and harness for me.. wish i had the money to get better projectors, but the work came out awesome.. thanks jj=)
took me forever to get these lights in coz of various things that have popped up.. but last week, i finally bit the bullet and got the bulbs and ballasts i needed to install everything.. here's a rundown on what's in the lights - headlights - fx35 projectors<these are single bulbs with the flapper for highs, mine are not the clear lenses> - harness<with the relay, fuse and stuff> - led parking bulbs<not really needed but it matches.. i should also get better turning lights> - digital ballasts - philips bulbs<mine are 5k> i can't believe these have been in my garage for about a year and haven't been installed all this time.. i really wish i had gotten these in sooner, these lights are really awesome.. ok, on with the pics=) pass side pass again.. both sides look the same.. i'll take pics of both at the same time and add a few more pics later lights on final cutoff.. it was hard finding a place with a wall AND a level ground.. i just settled on a wall and eyeballed how high both lights should be=/ how these lit up freeway street another street annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd oem halogens

Looking good...are you running the Heineken Keg can shrouds?
And I'm not 100%, but I think you can swap some TSX clear lenses into the FX projectors which give a nice sharp cutoff with tons of color. Something to consider down the road instead of buying completely new projectors. |

hah i do feel a lot better now that i have better lighting.. what sucks when i drive is that i can barely see where i'm turning coz of the apillars being so thick.. the stock halogens really don't help with their limited output too, but these would help me much more when i'm cruising up canyons and such
i forgot to take more pics.. i should include high beam pics too.. hopefully i can get around to that this weekend |

Lights look good on the car, I prefer a little chrome left in the turn signal area personally. Get some more pics of the lights on the car too!
I was driving on the AC expressway at night this past weekend and the whole time I was thinking,"Damn I should pull over and get some pics of the beam," lol... for those that don't know the expressway has no ambient lighting and is 3 (or 4) lanes wide with trees blocking the opposing traffic lanes. |

ya, i realized the issue with the turn signal coz without the reflector in full use, the light won't be shone as bright.. that's why i said i needed better bulbs there to compensate the loss of intensity
shoot, i really wanted to get some more pics but i couldn't get the chance.. it's finals week=( but i'll be in school later tonight and stay pretty late.. so i should be able to get some pix by then |

wow finally got them in huh terrence? thanks for the comments guys, and im glad your happy with them!
the reason he doesnt have the chrome in the signal housing is because these were an extra set of lights i got from a friend that i sold to him. and they were already painted ALL black, i prefer chrome in the signal housing as well. But they still look good terrence, nice to see them put to work! |
