use some common sense.

Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry if I ask this kind of questions. As I've said, I have no knowledge on this kind of things and I don't know how or where to get a offset calculator. My last car before the WRX is a 2003 rav 4 and I didn't even care about the wheels when I had the rav 4. I haven't seen a 18x9 and 18x9.5 up close nor know what will be the difference on fitting. Again, sorry if I offended anyone here with the question and thanks for the educational replies.

Is anyone running Fifteen52 RSL Tarmacs in 18x9.5 on their '11+ WRX?

Link to the wheels: Here

From what I have read/understand, an 18x9.5 +40et should fit with no issues except for a slight roll depending on the tire. I am curious to see what they would look like on an '11+ WRX.

Question 17x9 +42 with 255/40R17

Hi Guyz,
anyone running Rota Grids 17x9 +42 with 255/40R17 on a 2011 WRX with stock suspension, no fender rolls?
i've hunted around this thread, but haven't seen this exact set up yet. i'm hoping to run this set up without having to roll the fenders.
Thx

I had those same wheels with a 235 tire. I was lowered a lot but it almost rubbed. I think you could maybe do it but if you lower at all there's no way.

You're perfectly fine. No issues at stock height.

Here is a calculator for your needs. Enter your factory wheel specs in the "current" section.

I haven't seen the Tarmac on one yet. The Rotiform NUE is similar.

Way to low. Stock WRX offset is +53 (or 55 can't remember. Try to stick with around +40 You will have to get a roll, run stretched tires, camber ect.

Would a 06 WRX be ok on a +45 offset wheel that is 17x7.5? No drop and on stock suspension, for now.

http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/suspen...rx-2011-a.html

As you can see, it doesn't appear to bulge too dramatically, and you clearly are benefiting from the wider tread. For comparison, a 255 PSS had 9.5" tread while a 255 Hankook v12 Evo has only 8.7"!! Almost a full inch of difference between tread width, which is clearly substantial. So like I said I'm going to run 255's on my 8.75" wide wheels, it should bulge only ever so slightly than the car in the above link, which I don't think will be too bad. I like the meaty look anyways as long as it is proper fitment
Thanks for the response! Judging by what I can tell from those pics, I will probably want to lower things a bit, but otherwise, I think 245/35/18 should work out pretty well with the PSS on the 8.5 wheels.

I appreciate the useful info - and good luck with your 255's - I hope they work out the way you want!

It is, you need hubcentric rings that reduce down to 56.1mm
