Is it possible to unsmoke headlights?
I have smoked headlights and don't really like them. Is there a way to remove it so it looks clear/stock again?
Thanks

Smoked as in headlight film? Or smoked as in painted?

Wet sand with maybe a 600 grit, if its cutting too much, get 800 grit

Brake Fluid is supposed to do the job and not damage the plastic

pretty sure most cars have a uv coating on the front of their lights so when you remove a layer or somethign, just like the comercials use the creams to take off old grim on head lights. those creams generaly take off coatings that are nice to have on your headlights.

If it's VHT Nightshades or some kind of spray on film you/clearcoat you can get it off with gasoline relatively easy. I would tape off your paint, and/or remove the lights prior.

removing lights should be mandatory. no point in risking the paint around the area since they're easy to remove
