All knowing OT: How to book vacations like the best of them?

I'm trying to find vacation deals and such for the girlfriend and I. I usually know how to get the best deals on whatever is sold on the internet, but vacations are an area where I have no experience.

We're looking for... something. Ideas are Cabo, Jamaica, and Fiji. All-inclusive would be amusing. I don't even know where to start looking for vacation packages and how to find the best deals.

So, where does one start?

We have getaways stuff here at JetBlue, Fly out of SEA/TAC and into Nassau Bahama's, they can get you hotels and cars and stuff too.

Just as an FYI, some airlines will have their own vacation package stuff.

Also try orbitz.com or travelocity.com.

Fiji? They're having an election and the last time they had one there was a coup, so I'd review the situation there before going.

Surely your local sunday paper has a travel section loaded down with adverts for vacations?
