Fit an '06 wrx without problems?
If you mean "Will it clear FHI 4 pots?" Nope!
I have that set up on my 02 wrx, and needed a 3 mm spacer.
Can someone counter verify this on an actual 06 wrx?

And Mach V Dan, just a thought to keep this thread the way you meant it to be, perhaps a link to a new thread called something like " Will it fit my car?" next to each wheels would filter.... some FAQ!
But what do I know... I'm the newbie!!!

Great initiative from your part, lots of usefull info. Keep on the good work!

Okay. Got specs for them?

I do not know the answer to that and I don't want to go into that in this thread.

Also, PLEASE do not quote entire columns of pictures from my original posts! It's not necessary and makes it very hard to read through.

We know the wheel size and bolt pattern, but nothing else yet.

My wife drives a 2013 Impreza, I'd like to get a new set of rims and tires for summer. Car came with 17 205 tires. I am wondering if I get 18 225 wider tires make the steering wheel heavier. I'd appreciate it if someone with some experiment can answer.

thanks,

I'm going to repeat myself, but PLEASE ask these questions elsewhere. I intended this to be a database of specifications ONLY. There's an entire Wheel and Tire forum for fitment questions, and other questions about modifying the car.

The steering wheel will be as heavy (or light) as before, as long as you don't change the steering wheel.

Most 18 inch wheels will be heavier than same model 17 inch wheels. However, I'm sure it should be possible to find lighter 18s than some 17s. Will lighter wheels make steering feel lighter? I don't know...

If you are going up a size (17 to 18) keep in mind that you need to keep the overall wheel+tire diameter as close to stock as possible to avoid speedometer reading errors, etc.

If you go to eBay under heurberger motors, they have them posted. They are about $1300 shipped, but if you type the order number into google you can get a set of 4 for about $1200 shipped. I inquired about them earlier and they weighed them and stated it weighed 24#'s. It's accurate since they placed it on their scale to weigh.

$1300 shipped, with center caps included. I did find some random parts places showing them for a bit less. I inquired, but no center caps. Which can be expensive.

Enkei MAT technology wheel, average weight of the 4 wheels 24.25 lbs.

They look pretty damn nice man. Not sure I would drop $1,300 for them. Probably find them much cheaper as more are sold and guys look to swap them.

Has anyone been able to find any info on the 2015 WRX black sport package 17x8s? I'm specifically looking for the weight, but can't seem to locate it on Subaru's site anywhere.
