Brullen vs. Stromung Exhausts or addt'l options
I have a 00RS in the Valley Forge area. I am interested in a catback system. I am looking at both the Brullen and Stromung systems (I like the dual tip look). Has anyone dealt with GTBguy and how reputable is he? I am a bit concerned about sending off a money order or bank check for $600 and not have anything arrive for 4-6 weeks. As for the Stromung, are people having problems with rust in only the mild version or also the SS? I can't justify spending almost $700 and have it last only a couple years. Other than these two systems, what other dual tip options do I have? If anyone has one of these two in the area I would like to take a closer look and listen to them.
Any and all feedback is appreciated. Mike

I bought a used stromung catback mild steel 200 bux, that was 2 years old, wire brushed it and painted it, no problems yet, paint has flaked off, I will re-do it before winter comes, I have had it for about 6 months I would say, I love it. I had alot of q's for gtbguy when he first stated selling the brullen, he was very helpful, but I couldnt lay down 600 for the exhaust or I would have gotten it.
TRi-tuning sells the brullen exhausts you might drop them a line, you would have to go and pick it up though.. Jay McDade |

Can't offer up too much on better exhausts, but to answer the other part of your question - GTBuy is pretty reputable. He's put together some very large group buys which always have there own troubles, but to my knowledge he's never left anyone stranded without their money.
