No joke, I literally felt the transmission hit the bottom of the car. After sitting on the side of the interstate, for a few minutes and calming down. I fired her back up and she went straight into gear. That same five speed has never had problem since then. Don't worry about it, just don't mess up too often and you should be good.

2 things
a downshift into 2nd at 80 isn't really hard on the trans at all, so that isn't really a testimonial for trans quality as engine quality because you no doubt over revved badly

lastly, which 2 wheels exactly were you on? I'm not getting at all how a downshift puts you on two wheels

I was on a exit ramp turning right, the car tried to stop itself, and went on the left 2 wheels is what my brother told me. He was behind the car and I was in it. The engine turned off, so at this point my car is doing about 60 in 2nd with no engine power.

Sending threatening PMs (what a joke!) is not the solution to your shifting ineptitude.

Perhaps following the advice which was offered to you months ago might've prevented this concern you have of damaging your transmission. Whatever... carry on.

Threatening PMs my ass. I sent you the exact same thing I posted in this thread with one additional comment desiring to talk about this in person. There was not a single threat involved, you pathetic idiot.

Seriously get a life, dude. I'm sorry you can't afford a new car or whatever's bugging you out. Even the other posters commented on how unhinged you get over nothing.

So, were you perhaps wanting to look deeply into my eyes? Sorry, but I'm not entirely comfortable with that either.

Lmao so you take that as threatening? How sensitive and weak are you?
And I DO wish we could talk face to face because I have a distinct feeling you're a different person when not behind a keyboard.

Lol I did laugh at the look deeply into my eyes comment though, I admit.

Finally.

If you read over my posts with an open mind, you might notice that humor was my intent all along. It's unfortunate you took it so seriously and got ticked.

They're all just words on a screen. Nothing to get worked up over.

Nice back tracking, but we both know that's b.s. Again, other posters in this thread already pointed out that you're an overly sensitive weirdo.

You clearly have too much time on your hands if you're policing the NEWBIE section all hours of the day and night. Again, it's the NEWBIE section. Not the Bitter-Over The Hill-Too poor to afford a new car even after 20 years section.
Again, get a life.

I was simply trying to bring a more peaceful resolution to this silly thread.

But stay upset over nothing if that's what you prefer.

So how about we take this to private message so we don't clog the forums like I suggested, or are you just too attention-whoring for that?

Says the guy who's felt the need to start no less than two threads regarding his inability to downshift properly.

More threats, eh? Rather juvenile behavior.

Lol you have trouble with reading comprehension.
As I said, I had one bad shift recently and I was wondering about the engine.

And it's not a threat, you laughable little man. I just know that you're the type to talk one way behind a keyboard and another way in person.

Anyways, I know your old little ego can't take it so you'll make some lame response trying to act like you weren't a provoking little bitch, trying to be a bully on the NEWBIE forum. So just refer back to all my previous statement about you as my responses going forward.

I also can't believe I'm arguing with some old, lost, lonely little man. I've already lost life points just by engaging with your pathetic ass. smh.
Time to go out and enjoy life not limited by old age or poor financial planning.

There are a lot of things you know nothing about... shifting for one, and me for another.

Look, this has been fun and all... but surprisingly, I do have other things to attend to. Feel free to carry on without me.

This thread is dumb. The sniping is dumb. This back and forth is dumb. Why am I adding to this thread? I has the dumb.

Your transmission is fine. Also, learn to rev match and save your clutch.
