Hyper Flashing without any busted bulbs
Using stock bulbs (non-LED). Passenger side turn signals starter hyper flashing last week. When using hazards all blinkers blink but passenger front bulb isn't as bright. I replaced it with another 1157 bulb (non-LED). Problem persists. Once in a while the turn signals flash at normal speed. I found there's a common issue with wiring being too tight in post #8 https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho....php?t=2161750
This seemed like an identical issue as what I have. I took off the air intake and loosened the wire harness. I quadruple checked all connections to make sure wires weren't coming out of any of their sockets. Still the same issue. I probably have a loose connection somewhere but I can't locate it. I'm considering ordering front LED bulbs and adding an LED relay to hopefully stop the hyperflashing. Do you guys thing it would solve the issue? I know its not a full fix but at least it will hopefully stop the hyperflashing.

Loose pin tension or corrosion somewhere.
I would start by checking pin tension at the housing. Then I'd probably apply battery power to the power feed to the flash filament and measure voltage on the ground wire. If you see more than a couple tenths, you've got high resistance on the ground side. |

Also it looks like the bulb has 2 filaments and 3 wires coming out. How do I figure out which one is positive/negative/ground? |

Took the bulb out again, cleaned the contacts in the socket, used a screw driver to lift up all of the contacts (two at the bottom and one on the side). Everything works now. It was a bad connection inside the socket.
