Default EGR not ready after 20g flex fuel build

Hey everyone,

Tried searching, couldn't find anything on this.

I recently got my car back from a 20g flex fuel build and cannot get the EGR to READY state after ~400 miles of driving. Some details about the build:

2020 STI
Cobb SF intake
Perrin 2.4 inch inlet pipe
Blouch 20g turbo
Cobb flex fuel kit
Fuel lines, rails, pressure regulator, etc.
Upgraded fuel pump
TGV deletes
Cobb catted downpipe

I ended up getting P0420 after about 50 miles on the new tune, so that CEL was suppressed and I'm going to re-enable the code and test again after I install the GESI 400 cell sport cat once it arrives. But I have not been able to get EGR ready in this time.

I've reached out to the shop who installed everything, and they said they didn't see any EGR system, and that mirrors my research on this subject so far. The tuner/shop also doesn't know why it's in NOT READY state. So I'm reaching out to the forum community as a last resort because I just want to be proactive in resolving the issue.

So my main questions are, does anyone know by chance from what I've written if is there something that would cause EGR to remain in NOT READY state? Is the EGR even supposed to be NOT READY, versus NOT SUPPORTED? Could it be the TGV deletes or the P0420 suppression that's causing it?

I'm not very knowledgeable in this area, so any help would be appreciated. Just wondering if there's an obvious culprit from my current setup that's causing this to happen. I feel like this platform is so well developed by this point that the answer should be obvious. Looking for an EJ guru's help on this one.

Thanks in advance.
