Toyota dealers are the worst. I'd rather buy from a Kia dealer now.

Remember when a dealership wanted something like $100k for the 2011 STI Limited chopped into a convertible? Good times they were.

Part of me feels like this is intentional so it doesn’t sell and dealer keeps it in show room as some collector vehicle.

That's definitely it. They can't NOT put it up for sale, but they also want to keep it so they can sell it for even more later on. If some sucker shows up with infinite money, I'm sure they'd take it, but I'll be honest with you:

If I go to a dealership in 10 years and there's a first MY Morizo edition with <10 miles on the floor, I'm walking the **** out of there.

There were “new” LFAs for sale several years ago. It was absolutely dealers holding on to the cars.

Got my car back from full PPF.

I don't know how the Core's cargo area looks like but they make it clear that interior is not important by the fact that they left 2 big holes on the sides here.

Do you mean the holes where the harness bar goes into the interior panel... or the side pockets at each corner? The side pockets are actually pretty useful. I keep sunscreen, bug spray, and a towel in them. One guy has worked out that cutting the foam leaves enough space for a spare tire under the cover. When I buy out my lease in July, I'll modify mine for the spare tire.

I meant it not having a complete flat floor and have what you call the side pockets. I'm still trying to decide what sort of box or bag I can put in it. I guess it is a way to get cargo space number up as offering 2 little foam blocks to fill the space wouldn't cost that much.

Are you talking about putting in a full size spare, or does Toyota sell a spare tire for this car?

I do really like the Heavy Metal color, but I can't think of a good wheel color to complement it. I had the same problem with my Dark Gray Metallic WRX. Gold kinda pops. I don't like black wheels. Curious to know what color wheels you'd consider.

It’s a donut spare. I’ll see if I can find the link later.

Bronze, gold, white; depending on how you feel about colored wheels you could do red or another bright color as well, the contrast looks good to me anyways. I always end up with Bronze wheels though, so you know, grain of salt on that one.

Tire rack lets you select the color of your car and "see wheels on it" it's a render but it's a better first step than going to a wheel shop & trying on a bunch of different wheels.

I'm not sure if it was the intent or not, but those little cubby holes store liquids in round bottles very nicely. not that I buy a lot of wine, but someone was thinking about me.

I actually like black wheels with a bit of red accent so the BBS are fine with me. If I get another set of wheels it will be some sort of TE37 to put 265 tires on.
