Default Audio upgrade.

As we all know the stock speakers in the 2015 sti suck haha. Looking to upgrade my door speakers and tweeters. Also will be adding an amp no sub in trunk. Any opinions on speakers. Wanted to try the audio frog speakers but can't really find any videos on them.

IF your thread gets locked, that doesn't mean you should start a new one with the exact same information.

Audio Frog is a new brand that came out recently that is geared towards the utmost SQ. One of the owners of the company worked for JBL and was a lead for the MS-8 processor. There are reviews on the audiofrog products on diymobileaudio.com. You never stated a budget so Im going to recommend anything that costs over $15k

Why are people on here such ********. All I'm doing is asking for advice and people get on here to troll and be annoying. Obviously if I'm looking at audio frog I know it cost a lot. I also know it's not 15k.

you're not the first person on this forum to upgrade their audio setup.... try searching and finding out what others have done and results they posted. everything bobditts said I will second. also note most people on this site think that pioneer $50 coax speakers or alpine components that cost $75 are the the best evar. If you want some actual high quality car audio and have a hefty budget, you'll find more like minded enthusiasts on diyma or another car audio forum. good luck with your upgrade!

Kicker woofers and tweeters kits look like pretty good bang for the buck

2nd on Hertz... I have the Hertz coaxial front and rear paired with Punch P300 powered sub in the hatch. Sounded just okay when I picked it up the car from the shop... but after adjusting on my own and putting a blanket over the sub with cross over lowered to 80hz. ..sounds pretty good... great actually.

I was going to just swap the f/r speakers to Kicker coaxial for $120 or so and do the swap myself... but my Lil Bro got me the sub for my Birthday...wife got me an exhaust! Haha!!

If I paid everything on my own...I would of spent close to $800... I would of definately listened and considered oem audio for the price... but I'm happy with the sound... just easy listening jazz and NPR news.

You can spend so much on car audio...it's endless... but I tell you...it your going to spend anything more than 2K on it...invest in dynamat... there is so much road noise in our cars...

BtW...the subs were hooked up to front spk output on stock HU wireloom... the rear speakers don't have equal base output as the stock HU is equalized....according to the tech.. more work but I feel it's done correctly. I also have a small remote base control to adjust the output separately...
