That's perrin's way of routing a recirc line. They even gave me one for an sti with the centered throttle body. My bpv is about a foot closer to the driver's side. Looks janky...but works. I've thought about going full vent to atmosphere simply because of it.

This thread started off good, but then the cars started getting older and the cleanliness of the engine bays started getting more neglected. hehehe

It's a project, so it's not really finished. It's a 1993 gc8 which i converted to 99 spec then rewired to 02 sti spec. It's getting a new shell once it's complete

Well post pics when it actually qualifies as a clean engine bay. Not that hard is it.

Thinking of plastidipping the stock intake vent. Recently added an SPT oil filler cap & batter tie down. Need to clean it up again before I take updated pics.

Lookin great Stealth - as always, although I still miss your old paint!

I just spent four or five hours extending the entire engine wiring harness to finally have all wiring out if the way for new sheet metal in the engine bay --- THAT much closer to finishing this shave/tuck job. Sheet metal 75% in... hopefully finish up over the weekend.

Here is my bay before I started putting in the sheet metal.

Soonerorlater, I like the oil catch can but I've always been afraid of locating it right by the turbo! A friend of mine had a oil catch can line blow off at the track... oil got on his turbo and caused a fire! Not that this would happen to you but... o_0
