UK 17's will be sweet! My car puts no one to shame man, every Vancouver meet I go to...I end being the ONLY Impreza without a hoodscoop and rear wing (Lots of STi's around here!)

Here's mine.

Here are my mods so far:
-tint
-sti axelback
-debadged trunk (except center emblem)
-paint front and rear emblems black
-painted headlights

next:
-new rims (17x8) - black with polished rim or gunmetal. Please feel free to recommend some good rims < $800.
-new springs - want a good drop but with the ability to run stock stuts...also want added performance. Thinking of STI pinks or prodrive.

i got a huge dent in my car not to long ago it was bothering the fugg out of me also had 6 minors dents all over the car. Clutch was going out already, tranny was also acting funny, so rather than fixing everything i just traded in. Very dumb reason to trade in but i did. but i got this 2.5i for $17,000 so i got a very good deal.

The dealer wouldn't open the headlight seals to do that, it's a DIY mod.

245/45/17 is pretty beefy and larger diameter than stock 205/55/16 (0.8" bigger), 245/40/17 would have been closer to stock (0.2" smaller), to keep your speedo closer to actual speed and improve gearing for slightly quicker acceleration.

FriedIceCream,

Have you felt any performance difference with 17x8 wheels and 245 tires?

Thanks.
