not really. tripod and ISO are all you have for low light. you could also set the camera down on something (ground, near by ledge, etc)

Default Great tips!

Great shots and an awesome write up! I'm surprised you advocate to ditch the UV filter though... I usually keep one on all my lenses full time as a bit of a safety precaution, and also because I tend to have a lot of distance in backgrounds. I'm wondering do you avoid it because of the extra vignetting caused by filter stacking with your Cir-PL? Or just feel like it reduces your overall sharpness?

This is my favorite photo of my Spec B - been trying to up my photo game, though. I just bought a DSLR and am hoping to be taking far better than this in the near future

Default Already excited for the next car wash.

I just got a new wagon, gave it a quick wash, and did a 5-minute shoot in my driveway. I'm already looking forward to my next day off to give it a proper wash, wax, and shoot. This is super cool and informative though, it'll be cool to read it all through and then do a shoot while it's fresh on my mind. Thanks for the post.

Default Great tips

This is so helpful. I always struggled with the reflections on the car but didnt realize I only needed a polarizer this entire time.
