Update time!

Two weeks ago I walked into the bank and paid off the remaining balance on my car. This was the biggest cheque I've ever held in my life haha ;D It felt good driving home knowing the car is now officially - fully - "mine!"

A big dump of snow was in the forecast so I swapped over to my winters. Everything checked out fine when I swapped them over, and I didn't notice any nails etc. But then the following day driving home I had a tire blow out. Thankfully it happened just after I exited the highway and was only going about 20km/h and managed to pull over right away.
This was pretty damn scary.

Then I was back to the summer wheels for a day, with the temperature dropping super quickly and 10-20cm of snow in the forecast for the next day.

Thankfully I have some awesome friends and connections and a friend whom owns a tire shop was able to overnight me a set of new winters so I had them the following day. They're Gislaved Nordfrost 200 Studded tires. 245/40/18 on the Enkei 18 x 8.5 rims.

Nice shot of my summer wheels before I put them in their nice storage bags for the winter..

Filmed a quick walk-around video showing each thing on my WRX as it currently sits end of summer 2017! Looking forward to next years mod, but for now - Winter Mode has been fully engaged! No more nice summer wheels for the next 6 months! :'(

Car looks awesome, man.
Are the tail light overlays that you got from Subispeed considered the light smoke version? Really liking the subtlety of them vs. the dark smoke.

Thank you!! They are indeed the light smoke ones yup!! I like the, nice subtle touch! They've been on for over a year and are still holding up great!

Installed the Sokumoto shifter bushing (+ shift stop), I had the Perrin ones in there - but am trying these out as they're a cheaper alternative!! So far very good!!

Some of you may have already seen my thread as I progressed and learned some graphic design work and illustrating cars. It really just started out as something fun I enjoyed doing! I made a few small die-cut decals of my own personal WRX, and had gotten alot of requests to essentially make the same WRX / STI but in the different color variations of the 15+ generation!

Here was the initial design I made:

So now I've made them in all colorways!!

The CWP and WRB all sold out in a day haha, but I have some more en-route from the printing company coming in a week or two! But if you're interested in any of the other colorways, you can pick them up here:
http://www.ninjaxbart.com/category/mini-wrx-decals

I designed these all from scratch using Photoshop and Illustrator on the computer, and submitted them to a company in the USA to have them printed and made!

Received a package from Perrin this week! The new 2015+ WRX Turbo Inlet Hose! Just did a quick unboxing / opening of it, close-up look of it, etc. I'll be doing the install in a couple weeks. Doesn't do much performance wise, but is an upgrade in reliability from the OEM part.. Does not require a tune.
