SilverFox Twin Turbo H6 GG Impreza
Hello,
I'm hear to share the success of my previous NA EG33 build and to follow up with my current project. Over the last 2 years I was building my bugeye chassis from basically scrap to a fine performance machine. BlackKnight EG33 Swapped 2002 Impreza Outback Sport MNSubaru build This Fall when attempting to change out the fuel tank I ended up scrapping the chassis due to major structural rust in the rear end. Thus I began building my 2006 2.5i to be the next iteration of the project. SilverFox / EazyOnCars MegaSquirt Twin Turbo EG33 Swapped 2006 Impreza 2.5i The goal for this project will be to have a fun Daily Driver that can keep up with other cars on the race track. Thus far I've swapped in some STI interior parts, did a rear battery relocation, built a fresh EG33, and made preparations to install the EG33 into the impreza. I have also aquired a MS3X to install, along with 2x Garret T25 turbos. Thus far the project has been a blast and I'm not going to stop until this thing makes boost. Check out my youtube channel to get a better look at what I'm doing. I will continue to post progress I make on this build. -Eazy

Its way more involved , EJ207 is easy compared to what he is doing.
EG33 is my final power solution if I ever want to go over like 420whp and test my 6mt strength. But to do it correctly requires things like a Haltech Elite / Link G4 and lots of supporting mods. |

That being said if you have the means both the Elite or the G4 will be a much more refined solution. |

Nice job so far. I'm curious to know the following:
1. What pistons, piston rings, and connecting rods are in your eg33 engine and what is the final static compression ratio? 2. Does your motor have any other stronger parts to prepare it for boost like arp head studs, etc? 3. How much boost do you plan to run on 93 octane pump gas? 4. Will you mount the turbo's above or below the engine (for best boost response)? 5. Why did you not go with the EZ30 R engine that has variable valve timing (and valve lift), and the more stout timing chain setup? 6. Does Matt Farah appear smaller or bigger in person? |

Right off the bat I'll be running stock wastegate pressure (9-11lbs) of the T25's. Honestly I would be happy with 5-10PSI start, as I do plan on adding boost control. I will be tuned for 91 octane to start. As I stated earlier I'm looking for around 375hp Quote:

lol, he's a pretty big dude. Though he has been slimming down quite a bit from what I hear. He's a pretty cool dude, making the video you could tell it's his job, which occasionally takes away the fun parts of it. |

The MCM guys have a spare EZ36 on hand probably because the car has suffered engine failure multiple times

It's funny that my original build gets compared to Supergramps a bit and I understand why. I hadn't heard of MCM until just after I purchased the EG33 but I really loved the gramps build. I've got a much lower budget than MCM and no turbo yoda to weld or do my wiring, but I think I'll have a pretty sick ride once this thing makes boost. |
