Default 01.06.2013 - Leavenworth Cruise

The main meet location will be the Home Depot parking lot in Bothell; We will be meeting @ 9:00 AM and will leave around 9:30. We will be taking 2 over to Leavenworth; hang out, eat, drink, come back either 2 or 90.

There will absolutely be NO SPEEDING, BURN OUTS, or ANY other type of asshettery allowed. I'll be leading us over at a reasonable pace; and will stop a few times incase anyone needs to tinkle.

We could encounter some snow on the roads if you're not comfortable driving in snow throw on a winter set of tires.

ADDRESS OF HOME DEPOT
18333 120th Avenue Northeast Bothell, WA 98011

PM me with any questions.

There is a pre-meet for the south end folks; @ the Red Robin Supermall at 8:15AM, We will head out at 8:30.

Can count me in. Always wanted to travel in a pack over to Leavenworth. Any specific destination to eat, or decide on the fly?

make sure everyone has tires that are suited for the road conditions you may face as you go over the passes.

Sounds like fun, but due to deployment a few days later I'm leaving summer tires on it this fall

Do you think stock Wrx tires at 40% will make it? I really want to go...

In other news I have some wheels and now tires what will have no problem for sale.

If you have any doubts about your tires or have to ask, stay home.

Stock are fine, as they are usually m+s rated. Summer tires are rated for, you guessed it, Summer.

Its not about upsetting anyone, it's about failing to control your vehicle in the conditions.

So you can be up at the front.

Wouldn't the back be better. As stated I've got plenty of confidence in the snow. I'm more worried about the group not agreeing

Crappy tires that might slide? Nope you go in front so you don't rear end half of NWIC.

Looking forward to the 35MPH slow downs thru ****ty towns and huge roundabout on HWY 2.

If only they had better parking I would suggest a stop at the Sultan Bakery on the way up. Good breakfasts and donuts.

I was more thinking spinning out on the highway and taking out the group as they rear end me. But your idea sounds like more fun.
