Default 96 impreza wagon wheels help!!

hey i'm static's friend with a 96 impreza outback wagon. i want to get some new wheels and i am wondering what the stock wheel's width is, because ive been told everything from 5.5 to 7. and also what is the appropriate offset to use? i think its 48-53?

depends on which diameter whel u got. they didn't come w/ 7" stock wheel widths in '96.

where u located? i'm unloading my 14" winter stock alloy wheel/tyre and 15" steelie w/ allseasons in a few months. low wear on both. i'm in ny.

wa, so most likely not. how much would shipping be, and how wide would the steelies be?

Stock was 15x6 et55. 205/60/15. That doesn't mean you have to stick with that.
A 205/50/16 or RS 16x7 wheels makes a nice upgrade.
