Default Where to pick up some 16" steelies?

Before I call around to junkyards, I kind of wanted to see if anyone in New England Subieland had some...for cheap, or even better - free. Gotta fit my 2k RS, of course, stock brakes.

Willing to drive...I'm in Manchester, NH.

Thanks.

If you want 16's with nice snows:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=326810

If you don't have 4 pots or WRX caliper brackets, then 15" will fit. I have 5 15" with 195/65/15 Blizzaks for sale $250. They were on my 01 RS.

Yeah, I saw that post...only problem is that I have the rubber in stock size. So I need 16" steelies. No real hurry, first race isn't until April...thanks though.

And Jack, what do you have left for alloy wheels, for sale?

16x6.5" (IIRC) WRX stockers are available as take-offs for around $75 apiece from Tire Rack. They probably don't show on the website, but if you call and ask, they should have them.

Joey,

The only alloys not spoken for (but have the highest interest....go figure) are the 99 RS wheels. These still have the original RE92's from the RS and are pretty much worn out....I've removed the wear bars so they track in the rain, but consider them a zero value tire at this point. They're very straight and clean. I ran these on my RS on the street most of last year....trying to get some mileage on them instead of the Azenis. PM me if you're interested.

I just re-read the last post. If you are looking for snow wheels, or don't need the wider ones to clear 4 pots, the Tire Rack WRX wheels will be cheaper than mine. I sold my WRX wheels for $300, which sounds about what Tire Rack might want. They'll fit on your car.

Well basically I'm looking for a set of steelies to put auto-x tires on, and then I'm ALSO looking for a set of WRX/RS OEMs with or without tires...

How much do you want for your RS wheels?
