Default WRB WRX getting tranny work done at Farrish in Fairfax?

I was getting my coolant tank replaced because of the 2002 paint flake issue (in another thread). I saw a WRB WRX with a Pink I, carbon fiber sti side markers, mesh sti fog covers and a full catless system, looked like a helix dp, maybe invidia, also a header, couldn't make out which brand, also a uppipe, don't know which brand either. Anyways they said you were getting tranny work done, and I saw all the old parts lying on the ground. They said they were not covering it under warranty, just wondering if you tried any other dealerships before paying out to subaru for the weak tranny.

Yeah, I find they are not the brightest people over there, and the only reason I had them do it was because I am to lazy to go somewhere else, its right down the street from me. They said they were not covering it, go figure, they also said that if my tranny broke it would be my fault and they wouldn't cover it. I was about to say, what the ****, maybe it should have been a little stronger or better built. Subaru has to know this is a old tranny and the wrx is pushing the tranny's abilities even at near stock levels. I deffinetly won't go their for any major work on my car.

I used to work at the Farrish Subaru Service Department. The shop formans are douchebags but the subaru tech is a really good guy and he definetly knows what he's doing.
