Default Hooking up new fuel injector clips and KnockLink

I just recieved 4 new fuel injector clips from RC Engineering for my 550cc injectors. I noticed that the wires on the injector are both black with no differentation between positive and negative. I'm going to assume that it doesn't matter how I hook these up in regards to positive or negative. Is this true??

And the last thing, who here has hooked up a KnockLink? I was wondering where you put your Link display?

Thanks,
Fitz

Mark, I am not sure about the wires on the injectors, but be sure your careful with the o-ring on the injectors when you but them in. I know Wayne and Bill have had some bad luck with the o-rings being damaged when installing/removing the injectors.

Good luck by the way. If you get it running by tomorrow afternoon, drive up to Waynes. I'll be there around 11:00 or so, just hang'in out.

Joe, think your post are going to help you get that "sift kick in the nuts" much faster. Remember, RyanC is a fat kid, and he has fat friends too..

Mark, any update? I hope you didn't go to sleep you lazy bum!

Mark - it doesn't matter how you hook up the injectors.

As for seating the o-rings, that does matter a whole lot like paul says. I would recommend having a helper watch the injectors go in as you stuff them into the fuel rails if possible. Also, put a light coating (very light) of motor oil on the o-rings to help them seal.

I'll give you a call later this morning - I might be able to stop by for a brief time on my way to the Kankamangus to watch trees.

Later.

I'm all set with the injectors actually. I was told about a neat little trick when removing the motor. The intake manifold stays with the car when the motor comes out. Saves about 40 minutes on the disassembly and an hour or so on the re-assembly.

Thanks for the info on the injector clip wiring everyone.

Paul: Actually I hadn't gone to bed. I got called into work at 11:00 and worked until 4:30 this morning on some software/PPT vision issues. Slept from 5 until 7 and then my neighborhood came alive. Nothing like a community yard sale at 7am to put someone in a rotten mood.

Joe: It'll be good to see you at the hillclimb this coming weekend at Philo. You are coming right?? Not going to chicken out?? I do recall you saying that you were going to be there to race that show car of yours. I believe Wayne even offered up some R-compounds. Let's hope you can keep this one from getting all dented.... it's such a "pretty" car.
