You know, if someone really wanted to be a dick, they could call his local PD and give them his plates and both of those videos. I'm sure they'll be really interested to see him doing top speed runs on the highway and tearing ass through residential areas.

OP I'm going to try and give you a little bit of advice. Shut the **** up and listen to the people here. You're being the typical young arrogant teen of our generation.
People probably give you crap for you modding your car because of the way you drive it on the street. If you solely worked out the suspension, brakes and tires, with your focus being to make the car better for auto crossing no body would ever give you ****. The car is not a highway monster and never will be so stop treating it like that. People will tell you your dumb for modding your car when obviously the wrx/STI is a better car in every way for how you drive (and I am not condoning it) You are more ignorant than the people you are calling out. Most of the most knowledgable people here telling you not to waste your time were into Subarus before the turbo model hit our shore. They know what it takes to mod these cars but know the wrx and STI well net you 10x better gains with the same or less money. And finally pull your head out of your ass, driving the way you do on the street is plain stupid. The only reason you have been so lucky to survive for soo long is the fact your car is slow. Grow up OP. |

hey soimprezd - Ive got a 2011 2.5i. glad you're liking it so far. I'm starting to play around with mine a little bit too. i dont think there is much we can do for power, but I'm researching what can be done to make better use of what we have. Keep me posted on what you do to yours. btw its cool if you're into the 2.5i. I'm never going to win a race, but i still like walking up to my car after work. its all good.

As far as that video goes, it was over a year ago, I don't drive like that every freaking day. As much as this isn't an excuse, my job is driving. I'm a delivery driver, I have a lot of experience on the road. This is obviously like I said not an excuse for driving 130. Now lets get over it

I guess you're right, I wouldn't want my logo on a car that was driving around town like a retard though. My boss' number is on my company truck and I flipped off some woman that cut me off and she called him to complain We had a good laugh.

Really? How old are you again? You have "a lot" of experience on roads in town, not highways. Hell, you probably don't have that much experience at all! 20,000 miles in my car, 2500 miles to and from racing school, 4 days of defensive driving and racing school, as well as thousands of other miles driving my family's vehicles. That was just one of my first years driving. Still think you have a lot of experience? I don't even claim to have a lot, I do for my age, but not in general. Grow up. You're not special, not even remotely.
****...He's 19, the same age as me...Way to make all of us 19 year olds look bad... |
