When bolting up a Catback Exhaust to the stock Downpipe, can you still use the same Donut Gasket? Or do you HAVE to remove it and use an aftermarket?

My exhaust fits fine with the OEM Donut.

i turned mine around. then i got a adapter from rallysportdirect and put that on. are both flanges donut? or is 1 flat flange? mine was 1 of both which made me need a adapter. it worked with the donut turned around but i wanted to seal it properly.

Honestly you should just upgrade your downpipe too... less exhaust restriction and no need for an adapter, plus you can use the TP stage 2 map

I got the problem fixed . Turns out my exhaust is made to mate with the donut and the given gasket is for aftermarket DP's! ( I feel epic stupid ) I'm saving up for a DP and Stage 2. Probably going to do this next year or so. I've got an extended warranty :/. Until
the day comes, I'll just focus on preparing a list and choosing what brands to use.

Don't sweat it man, we've all had those derp moments. I, myself, had about 3 today! Definitely look into getting the torqued performance stage 2 map when your warranty is up (or when you decide you can't wait anymore)
