I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I've got a question.
The return line of my 05 Saabaru (9-2X Aero) is rusted and pouring fluid out. The rest of the line is good, but just the part that connects to the rack itself. Anyone know what part number that is?

would anyone know if running a -10an return line would cause any issues? bought the chase bays kit a couple years ago and the reservoir was garbage and leaked constantly so i bought the Mishimoto reservoir. bad thing is that the Mishimoto reservoir has push on fittings that need to have a -10an minimum hose. at minimum i will just make the last bit of the line go up to -10an from -6an but would rather just run the whole line.

-10AN is huge... I would not use that size for packaging reasons alone.

A few updates since I did this -

If I did it again, I'd use Aeroquip "Racing Hose, Teflon" hose/lines, rather than Earl's P/S hose. The Earl's P/S stuff is massive (in terms of OD), and due to an oversight on my part, the Aeroquip "Racing Hose, Teflon" actually has a higher working pressure w/smaller OD @ the same -6 AN hose size. Goodridge 600- or 600HP-series lines would be acceptable, though a little harder to source in the USA, and hose termination requires some serious tooling for the high pressure stuff.
