I wish I had time to come on here everyday and respond to these repetitive posts. I really appreciate the time you took to write your comments and suggestions. I hope you understand that every problem, mistake, or suggestion people have helps us to change. Change does not happen overnight. To say that I spend all day on here isn't factual. I work with Mauro 3 days a week and the rest of the time am in school. The rest of the time Anthony runs it alone and has another family member helping with the paperwork.

Anthony started this business alone and grew it since 2002 by himself only up until a couple of years ago hired more help...me. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Subaru's and I've learned a great deal from him about cars in general. He's a great person and cares a great deal about this business, his customers, and the community.

With regards to hiring more staff, unfortunately there is a lot of private customer information that passes through this company so hiring people becomes an issue. We need to hire people we can trust with credit card numbers and important order issues. In some ways we've been in over our head, but it comes with the territory. A lot has happened in the past year both good and bad, but we take everything in stride and move on. We cannot dwell on past issues or customers that have a problem with us...

...Even when we have repetitive people like this. People we bend over backwards for and try to make happy, but still like to make clear that they had a bad taste left in their mouth. People love to make clear the negative quikly since it sparks a crowd. Look at how many people have viewed this thread!

We've apologized publicly for any delays or trauma we've caused anyone in the past, but we're doing our best. If you still have a personal problem with us or you'd like to make any suggestions please contact us. We're part of this community to serve...not to aggrivate.

Thanks guys,

Greg

PS Jim H. - Anthony told me about the lip not reaching you yet. I will figure out the situation and get back to you. How are the struts?

I bought Rally Armor Mud Flaps and STi Key, I've been very patient, an week after ordering them, with quick responses to some of my e-mail's and PM's, and they canceled my foglight covers as I requested. I was e-mailed that my order was shipped using 3-day select which was 2 weeks ago, with no tracking number. I continuely messaged them for a tracking number with no answer from Anthony or Greg, and went to go their website and it's down.

I would just like to know what is taking so long, and why is it so hard to give me tracking number if the items have shipped, unless that haven't shipped or were lost during shipping. All I want is the tracking number, an explanation what is going on or if you don't have the items just a refund.

Thanks, Joel

I think they need to come out and just say it... they don't stock items.
Almost every single customer on this thread share the same issues, primarily being POOR communication and LONG INACCURATE shipping times.

I've seen the "we usually stock it but they sell out quick" excuse used many times, as well as Mauro admitting they are a vendor based out of a very small location (a home garage was it?). They expressed their intent on buying a larger warehouse space, but it doesn't seem to of happened.

Based on my following of this thread, i can only assume that they still are operating out of this small space with LITTLE TO NO stock whatsoever. Which means they wait for your order, they place it with a distributor and then are at the liberty of how long it takes the distributor to fill the order. If they were up front about this, it likely would be accepted by many of the people here on the thread, as they would know what they are signing up for.

But when members of this community are left in the dark and expect a certain ship date without any indication it will take any longer (many of the time, MUCH MUCH longer), it shows a certain lack-of-ethics and business accountability in this vendor.

It is my honest opinion that this also hurts the general business of the online vendor community, by installing a fear in certain members to do any eBusiness at all. It's become pretty common knowledge that many of the eBay auto sellers are very risky and incredibly prone to poor quality control - however message board vendors such as the ones on NASIOC strive on being reliable and trustworthy.

However I've actually spoken to a member who now fears to do business with any vendor on the forums due to their experiences with this specific vendor.
Simply put, the business practices I am seeing on this thread are threatening more then just their own business.(in fact, somehow it doesn't appear they are very phased by it, so they must still be getting plenty of business elsewhere)
I honestly believe it's threatening the business of online vendors as a whole!

Thank you for your response to this thread again Alphacry. Subaru is not the only market in which we are popular with and our business is in no way, shape, or form, hurting the reputations of others who do business on these forums.

We are not moving into any new facility until the beginning of the new year. We had plans for the past August, but have come up with a much better way of expanding which will include MORE then just a warehouse at this point. Right now there's no point in moving during this fiscal year when the holidays are coming up and a lot of time/money will be necessary for the move. We actually do stock a lot of goods, but they are parts that we advertise only. We are NOT going to advertise parts that are not instock and YES we do have a lot of suppliers/distributors who will drop ship for us. This is not something new and we're NOT the only vendor who does it...in fact I know of vendors on here who advertise parts instock that aren't even instock but are drop shipped! Imagine the horror and fear they are instilling in the community.

If you still have a personal problem that you'd like to bring up to us why not give us a ring or shoot us an email. Repeated posts aren't helping the situation. There's a lot of work that needs to be done during the day here. Spending time on this forum fighting off unhappy customers who's situations were handled months ago is not very productive on your end or mine.

We appreciate the continued business of our repeat customers and always look forward to making new customers happy as well. This is year 4 for us and we continue to grow each year.

Thanks again...now I have to go back to class.

E-mail tracking questions to [email protected] and Sales inquirys to [email protected] ...we're here to help.

Joel PM'd you, but I won't be back in the office until tomorrow. The website is undergoing maintenance right now and will be up in the next 24/48hrs. STi keys are always on the shelf, but the flaps are not since they've been quick movers before the winter. We didn't charge you any shipping and I believe Anthony has been back and forth with you. I'm sure he'll get back to you with tracking asap!

The site was supposed to be down on Sunday only, but this has lasted all day today as well. The website and e-mail were down all day today and should be back up around midnight tonight since they share the same server. Please let us know what you think about the new look and easier then ever navigation! Customers should be able to place orders again after midnight tonight. Not much has changed in the shopping cart, but check out is cleaner and more specific.

Joe - I KNOW Ant got your bov out last week 3 day air. It'll be at your door tomorrow, but I'll e-mail tracking when I get into the office in the morning for sure.

Jim - I have some news about that front lip and one of us will call you tomorrow afternoon.

So I don't realyl mean to be rude...

But I ordered an intake over a week ago.
I requested in my paypal payment that if the item was NOT in stock or was to be a backorder to let me know instantly...

if you want a copy of that reciept I can send it to you.

I called at the end of the week when I didn't recieve my item.
Whoever I spoke with on the phone told me the item didn't get to your store untill the day My invoice / tracking number told me it was to arrive at my house.... and after I called the post office to find out where my item was.

My car needed to be completed TODAY! ...
which was the day your store promised me that my intake would arrive absolutly no later then.

I wouldn't post this here... but you won't answer the phone, and your website doesn't work.
Not sure if you can tell or not... but i'm a little pissed off at the service i'm recieving. The car is suposed to be in show tonight, and full display by 7pm....

so...

HONESTLY....

either I can get my item in time for day two of this show so I can have my hood up....
and I will thank you for your fast efforts and give your store a thumbs up for lowering my stress level.

or we need to talk about my refund. so I can get my part here in time for the next show.

I don't mean to be rude... but next time don't make claims your store can't keep.

We refunded your paypal account today. Noone hung up on you and I don't have a single e-mail from you in my mailbox. Sorry for the delay on this particular product, but since you cannot wait you were refunded immidiately.

Thank you for your understanding,

Greg.

Real-Time inventory is now available on the website. No longer will you have any question of whether or not an item will ship within 24 hrs. Simply add the product you're looking for to the shopping cart and it'll show you the amount of stock we have available. If no quantity shows up then it needs to ordered and you should contact us for availability. This will very simply take a lot of the guess work out of shopping with us.

Contact me at [email protected] if you still have any questions or concerns.

In my opinion Greg is a great person and Mauromotosports is doing a great job. I emailed them for price and availability for an item yesterday late. I got a response this morning and emailed them back and got another response today.
I dont mind waiting for something that I know is hard to find. The sure fact that they could get this for me astounds me. ( dont ask me what, I am working on a project, to be revealed spring)
Thanks Greg.

it's a different story when you have sponcers breathing down your neck about parts that are promised to arrive then don't.

it's not my money im spending....
and this company sucks for fullfilling what they promise.

your phone system hung up on me today 3 times.
I've left messages, I've left e-mails.
and you finally responded when I put a stop on the paypal.
within 2 hours.

I apreciate the refund, but your site is still saying you have the part IN STOCK when you don;t.

if you want to wait a month or two for an item they say they have in stock... cool. awsome company.

I called the original vendor which I by-passed for one item as I didn't want to wait a day for them to stock it and got tanked.... and before I could even say a name when I was describing the problem... he told me the name of THIS company. THATS sad.... (sorry bud.. )

greg, sure your a good guy man...
but damn... comminication skills suck.

I spent less on my intake today..
with overnight shipping.
and i'll have my in-stock item tomorrow before I wake up (FED EX)... and in time for this weekends show.

The site does not have your part as an instock item sir. I appreciate your comments, but because the part needed to be ordered and was delayed we could not fulfill it fast enough for you. Thanks again for your understanding.

EDIT - Just checked again...this part is NOT labeled instock anywhere on our site. It's labeled "usually ships the next business day" but that does not mean instock. This is another reason why we now have the real-time inventory. When you click on the add to cart button the product has "0" in the quantity section. The last two weeks the site, including e-mail has been in and out of service because of these changes. I personally didn't have ONE single e-mail from you in that time. Only the paypal e-mail which we received today, which is why you received the refund today. If you still have a problem let me know and I'll do what I can to help you out.

normally other vendors would call me before charging my account if they know that there will be delays even if that might just be for a couple of days.

vendors who do that well..

rallysportdirect, importimage, worldone, and godspeed

We normally do the same...only this particular customer paid with paypal through our website and it automatically debits the customer's account as soon as they place an order. Thanks for your input though.

just happy I was refunded.
no longer dealing with the company.

My part arrived on my doorstep at 9am this morning when I placed my order yesterday at 3pm with my new company.

sponcers = thrilled....

and total over all cost was 2 dollars over this cost... meaning I saved about 40 bucks on the actual item.
which means the 6 sponcer cars we're working on for SEMA will be getting all parts from the other company.

My shipping order was updated twice as shipped.

Better get moving! SEMA already started in Vegas yesterday and ends Friday...unless you're talking about next year, which in that case leaves you with plenty of time. Thanks again for your understanding.
