I think you're just noticing it more, due to the heat stressing you out. Utah is full of terrible drivers. And at the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, if I am stuck behind someone in the passing lane, doing 65-70, with no one in front of them for 2 miles, damn right I'm crossing into the HOV lane to get around em. And seriously, what the **** is it with Idaho drivers?

Why not move to the right and pass them?

Tisk tisk tisk, not supposed to pass on the right homie .

I'm not more irritable due to the heat, I wish it was that simple. When someone is hogging the left lane, and no one is in front of them, I keep moving to the left of them to "look around them". I'm hoping they will realize "hey this guy in his awesome Subaru wants to get by, wait, I am cruising in the pass only lane, I shall remove myself". Then I fantasize that they will take that moment of self discovery, and pass their new found knowledge to everyone they know .

I had to take the Utah driving test to get my license, and that double line was on there... Twice. So everybody better obey that double line .

Oh and around 2pm today I also saw a wrb bug eye w/ exhaust with a girl driving on I 15 s (in the middle lane mind you) before you hit SLC. Still learning the cities here, so I hopefully will get better.

Yessssssssssss! Stupid potatoes.

Florida still holds the crown for extremely extremely bad drivers. Rain= hit the gas. Traffic light out = hit the gas. Cop in front of you = beep get out of my way. Drive through mcd's got your order wrong = call the cops, leave car in drive and get out to yell and car rolls away. Fog = high beams and hit the gas. All true.

not true, also, it's illegal for the car in front to not move over for a faster approaching car. even if the approaching car is speeding.

spotted a 04/05 wrb sti in draper by discount tire around noon.

According to Utah DMV, and a state trooper, it is illegal to pass on the right and can be ticketed as "improper passing". It is mainly a safety issue since people exit to the right (majority) and large trucks have the biggest blind spot on their right, and slower traffic is in the two right lanes. I think there are some more reasons but I cannot recall.

I'd still rather risk passing on the right than cross the double white. Just me.

As for spotting subbies, I've seen a lot....

Spotted an 08+ STI hatch in black at the Chevron on 4100 South and 4800 West. Revved his engine at me to prove how fast his car was. When will people learn? Yes your car may be faster than mine, but guess what, mine's stock!

And yes, the more you can rev your engine, the more body hair you grow and one day you'll become a man.

True, they passed that law a few years ago and no one in Utah seems to know anything about it.

Not so much spotted as heard some douchebag racing down Hawkeye Dr. in West Valley with his jackass BOV, not once but twice this week. I know you think your BOV just sounds so awesome, but you don't need to race down a neighborhood street (25 MPH speed limit) at more than double the speed limit to try and get everyones attention. Nobody thinks you're cool, just that you're a tool.

Knock it the **** off you immature jackass. And yes, I did sign in just to post that. As you were.

A fair point, but I can't be specific sadly. All I know is it was a Subaru (unmistakable exhaust note), and besides, the location is specific enough for whomever it was if they are on here.

Hope you are well Aaron.
