I myself was curious about the accusump... looks like a pretty neat little system, where do you have it plumbed back into Wayno? And where did you mount the valving? I was thinking that a perfect spot would be in the rear galley by the bell housing. Wonder if you could throw a -4 / -10 Y in there with some creative check valves to prelubricate the turbo / jet some oil into the engine block / heads.
With the electric system which would be really handy, I'm guessing about 500 dollars by the time it was all said and done. More if you do the set pressure relief / billet mounting system (Wayno did ) Levon |

I think the complete kit was $349. Then you need the lines and fittings do around $500 for everything. I think got the 50-65 psi electric valve so if oil pressure goes below that it sends 2L of oil into the block, I think it goes through the oil cooler first, but not 100% cause they haven't plumbed it yet. It's added safety and insurance, also can prime the engine before starting which is a nice feature.
This is what made me get it over the dry sump. Very informative threads from a guy who knows Scoobys! Good reads too http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1959461 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1432196 |

All the pics i have of the bay are in here bro. i'm not running a coolant overflow/heater tank cause my turbo isn't water cooled.
peterson tank is front two ports on heads -8 go to a T then to the catch can then the -12 goes to the left side of block, IAG made me a custom T and welded a bung and the bottom of the tank now that goes to the left port on the block. the rear port on the heads goes to a T back to the center of the block Fuel system is all -8 stock tank feeds surge, dual 044's T into 1 line then to a filter then to the front of the car. they then split to the front port on the rails then back from the rails to the FPR, then return back to the surge tank. Hope this helps... |
