They are affected. Although the electronic brake force distribution system can adjust, it is adjusting based on known factors. By changing all the calipers and piston sizes, you are changing the known factors.

I don't understand your question. The caliper is held on to the knuckle using bolts, but not nuts. If you are asking for torque specs on those bolts, I'd use 80 ft-lbs.

Sorry, we don't want to rebuild your calipers. It's too time-consuming, and at mechanic's rates the price would be too high.

Great information! Not exactly a step by step but all the minor details can be found in other threads with a simple search. Good stuff guys!

Question, has anyone added extended lug bolts to their 2015 WRX? Curious to know if it's worth the hassle. I am currently running Advan RG-D wheel 18x9 +45. According to Ravspec, these Advans will not clear STI Brembos and will need a 3-5mm spacer. I do not mind running spacers but I am concerned that the stock studs are not long enough.

My options as of now is to either:

1) install extended wheel studs and run small spacers (Most hassle)
2) Get new wheels (Most expensive)
3) Run my 2015 STI base wheels (Most STOCK, eh, LOL!)

Curious to know, can we bleed the brake system as we install each corner? Or must we install all 4 corners before bleeding?

Example, install rear passenger then bleed it. Install rear driver, then bleed it. Etc...

So quick question. Do the Mach v lines have to be the 08-14 ones or do the 15+ wrx ones work. Or the 2015+sti ones

Great post Dan! For clarification, can anyone please confirm that the Brembos fit under 2015 OEM WRX wheels with a 10mm spacer?

They will fit but just get a 20mm to flush out the wheels checkout subiespeed for spacer fitment pics

Do you know if the bigger 2016 18" factory wheels will clear these brakes?

Those wheels should be the same as the older sti wheels. I have them on mine and they clear

Will I still need spacers?
Anyone know if the older (smaller) wrx 4 pots go on easy? I know the rotors are different

You can get spacers to flush your wheels with fender line but not needed to clear brembos.

From my understanding the 2015 wrx brakes are better brakes than all earlier years of Subaru before upgrading to brembos. But to answer your question I'm not sure if it's a direct swap or not

Yes the smaller WRX 4 Pots and the rear WRX 2 Pots will clear the stock 17" 2015+ WRX wheels.

The fronts are a direct bolt on but they will require our front gravel rotors because your hub is 5x114.3

The rear calipers require our rear V2.0 caliper bracket and will use a rear BRZ rotor that is redrilled to 5x114.3

Question

Has anyone tried or found anything about possibly swapping the 15/16 STI Brembos onto the 15/16 WRX? Just a thought, been trying to see if they will work or even fit but so far very little information has been found.

Buddy of mine found some off a wrecked 15 and slapped them on his 15 wrx so I'd say yes. Though your better off finding an older set quicker

Any 08+ STI Brembo calipers will fit on your 15+ WRX without the need of a rear caliper bracket. 100% direct fit.

04-07 STI Brembo calipers will also fit on the 15+ WRX but it will need a rear calipe bracket.
