front tow hook

i saw a aftermarket tow hook on the front of a subie once and looked sick just wondering if anyone knew where to get one? thnx

It comes with a stock tow-hook that fits by the passenger side foglight... Is that what you're thinking of?

If that's not it, what type of aftermarket tow-hook was it?

big?
small?
folding?
cloth?
does it use the stock screw hole?
attached to the front strut tower bar?

Try to give us a hint or a pic of what you're looking for...

pop off the passenger-side fog light cover. you'll see the thread-in for the hook that's in the tool kit.

The information under his name states he has a 2003 WRX, so it's *beside* the foglight cover, there's a little plastic cover.

NB: this is *all* covered in your users manual, it's good to know...

As long as all 4 wheels are turning your transmission is fine, its when only 2 are turning is the damage done.

^^ this is true...when was the last time you saw a tow truck driver tow a car with all 4 wheels on the ground? tow truck drivers for the most part are retarded because the cars they tow are not theirs.
