Default 2016 Dash Marks, Meguires Scratch X Mistake, Fix?

Hi All,

I am looking for some cleaning advice. After getting some car stereo work on my 2016 XV, the guys left a bad scratch mark on the air vents, I then used some Meguires Scratch remover on it (as it works great on the piano black trim) and now I have a part of the air vent which is a different colour black because I taped it just to work on the scratch. I have used an interior cleaner and protector on it and no change... So I am kinda lost on best way to make it look better?

Thanks

Do you have a picture of the scratches?

You might try using the ScratchX lightly over the rest of the surround, blending it in so to speak.
