![]() LOL! ^^^
I give it a thumbs up, it works don't it? Though if your not running on the track, I would say its very "ricey". -Adam Last edited by maperformance; 07-13-2009 at 01:30 AM. |

![]() I gave this a shot this past fall and never posted pics. So FWIW, here is mine. I personally like the look it gives, especially given it was <$15 and is actually rated for the correct weight specs in the event it was ever necessary.
***However, regardless of how much I like it, I have read a few posts where guys have stated their opinions regarding the safety of a DIY like this. Can someone legitimately verify that this could be dangerous to the effect of premature airbag deployment in the event of a minor fender bender and/or the reverse situation (ie: airbags would not go off as designed in a major crash)**** ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Here are my tow hook installs on 08 WRX STI. Basic factory tow hooks, painted red. Modified front fog cover with 2" rubber drain gasket. Rear with misc. rubber gasket.

![]() I love NASIOC. Dude posts a nice DIY mod that is functional and an aesthetic plus to some people (and for some of us who actually like to take cars in dirt/mud/snow, possibly both). Dude gets lit up because some other people don't like front tow hooks.
So, for those of you who don't like front tow hooks, why do you care what these guys do? Lame. You guys crack me up. And no, I don't run a front tow hook (and I have never even put mine on). I know, this happens in every thread on this site. All those posts are lame too. Oh yeah, "subscribed" for the ensuing flame attacks. Gracie. |
