![]() Hi there,
Please check out my video that will show you how to make an inexpensive undercarriage washer to keep your car's undercarriage clean from all that road salt and sand! I hope you enjoy it and will try making your own at home ![]() ps. I know my car in the video is not a Subie but I felt this video will help a lot of Subaru owners out esp after driving it all winter!

![]() Nice, it's simple and inexpensive, I like it! Have you thought about a metal version with pressure washer nozzles to use with a pressure washer? I've kicked around the idea of a 2-nozzle system like that but haven't taken the time to try to make anything yet.

![]() Oh wow that's pretty cool! The underside of our time attack cars could definitely use a good cleaning like that.

![]() thanks, I'm glad you think its a good idea, give it a try building one! it's easy to build and really inexpensive! saves a bunch of money than having to pay for an undercarriage cleaning all the time at a car wash or if you're like me and don't take your car to a car wash.

let me know how you make out making one and if you have any questions! also, make sure you read the description of the video, there was a typo in the video on one of the measurements the correct measurement is in the description. |

![]() That's a pretty cool idea.
The only thing I didn't see was if you indicated during assembly was how to orient the perforated pipe with the rest of the set-up. Put that pipe in the wrong way and you have to do it all over again. Of course, that's what would happen if I did it. ![]() You should add a disclaimer: Make sure you watch the video a couple of times before attempting. If you assemble it wrong, don't blame me ![]() |

![]() I use one of these and put my cars on a ramp in the spring to wash the undercarriage.
Place at the rear of car at full blast and continue pulling the hose forward until you get the entire undercarriage. I give it a good 4-5min soaking per section. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....119phsYiWL.jpg I usually wash the engine bay first while the car is on ramps then proceed to doing the undercarriage. |
