I ordered one in June and it's been crickets. I sent him a message on eBay a couple days ago but haven't received a response yet.

I am considering this since the OP is MIA and I haven't heard anything since placing the order 7 weeks ago. He did a good job in this thread showing 4 wires the the display requires and from there you'd just have to connect the camera, which has an 8-wire harness. If I understand it correctly, you'd just need to figure out which 4 wires to connect.

I might delve into splicing the camera into the existing harness but I'm going to give the OP a bit more time. And I really won't have the time for at least a couple months anyway, so I'll just be patient for now.

OK, So I ordered this off of ebay from the OP on June 25. It is scheduled to ship/ arrive between Aug 8-12. I have already paid for this item. If it comes in I will take pics and explain best I can what color wires need to go where so if anyone else wants to try there luck at making one. If it does not come in, I am going to fry him on EBAY and hope the admins fry him here. Here is hoping that it comes in.

Still no response to the message I sent him on eBay over a week ago. I'll probably give it another week and if nothing happens by then I'll cancel the order and request a refund. I'm fine with waiting and understand life happens and he can't drop everything for selling a $100 eBay item. But when there's no update after 2 months and messages don't get returned I really don't have much of a choice...

I haven't heard from him but I got a shipping notice from eBay. No status update on the package though, the shipping label was only created.

OK, So I understand life happens, but this is crazy. A shipping label created w/o tracking means it hasn't been shipped yet. And in my case he just said he was going to ship it, no label created. OP needs to keep people informed. So I am tired of waiting on the OP, I am going to order mine through Iwire. I'll take all the pics I can before install to help anyone else that may want to make one themselves. Plus to help out Iwire as I will probably be the first one they make. To all those still waiting................stay thirsty my friends.

Nope. I sent him another message today. If I don't get a response by the end of the day tomorrow I'm canceling the order and requesting a refund through eBay. This is ridiculous...

Update: I requested a refund through eBay so now he's got 3 business days to respond. I've gone through this one other time before on eBay and if he ignores it I should get automatically get the refund. From my experience, eBay typically sides with the buyer but I'm not sure what what happen here since a shipping label was already generated. I'll post any updates here in case others who ordered one of these harnesses know what to expect from the process.

As of yesterday I moved on to a different vehicle. Long story but I ordered an M2 Comp back in January and it finally arrived a month ago. I got rid of my commuter car earlier in the summer and had planned daily drive the STi but it wasn't working out. Atrocious fuel mileage (16 mpg happened on the highway a couple weeks ago) and losing the hatch were my complaints, and my wife simply did not like the car from day 1. We decided to get a '19 Fiesta ST and now everybody is happy. The FiST is stupid fun.
