I noticed it happened after i put gas in and washed it the same day, but thing is it was really cold and ot all froze...drove it home, the next morning it sounded like some one cammed it and idle is horrible, power loss id say in performance...could it skip 1 tooth at idle startup and still run?

check that all the coil packs are connected, then check cam timing. if that all is ok you need to compression test it. the fact that it knocked then got quieter seems to indicate something may have fallen into the cylinder and gotten trash compacted. or it could have hydrolocked if you blew a HG the day before and it sat all night leaking.

Ran a compression, all were within 130-150...as driving it it seemed to have a loss of power...smooth lost not a jerk or anything. Changed plugs too, could i unplug each coil to see if it makes a diff? Like if i unplug one and it doesnt loose any more power, then its that cylinder correcr?

yea you could unplug each one as its idling and see which ones make the engine jump around and become more "camed" and which one doesn't. then you know which cylinder is at fault at least.

Update...while warming car up all the plugs, unplugged one at a time made the engine run worse...after warmed up the passenger side pulling both packs, had no effect on engine diff...i.e both cylinders sounded dead after warm up

I can't believe it would even run with both cylinders on one side dead

Hahah well it did/does and it skipped timing. After reading that when cylinders 1 and 3 are dead in water that its more then likely timing...ironically thats what i first though when i heard my car...because their was a knocking noise from the driver side, then it stopped but my car sounded cammed after that. So yeah timing skipped, everything seemed okay when turning the crank nut to line the cams up and compression was all in range so i doubt and valves got bent or burnt bad...but well see when i put it all back together...

Going to finish ripping the rest off today...i did my timing about 10k miled ago, so assuming my belt looks good i can just reuse it right? Im thinking the tensioner from the GMT kit took a ****.

I can confirm the car will run with only two functional coil packs/plugs. Had problems getting the boots on properly after a recent compression test. Sounded like she was gonna blow, but it did run. With just one bad coil, sounded more like the OP's problem. If it's a misfire though you should be getting P030x code where x = cylinder number (or 4 for multiple) - I was at least.
